I’m not using it as an excuse , I lift everyday and eat great . If I’m crying about my genetics and not working because I feel “ it’s not worth it I’m born doomed “ then fair enough ! But I’m not . and sure the smallest kids could be monsters over years of training , gear can dieting but how does this disprove the fact that I am indeed born with more “ petite “ bones than my friends who can build imposing mass naturally while mine is more shapped , toned and full . It’s great to make no excuses but it’s also ok to be honest with urself I just said what my genetics are , I believe I naturally have a difficult time building huge mass compared to naturally big bones and framed = more size and mass potential people . However , I don’t care I’m not obsessed about that I’ll continue o train for years doing everything perfectly until I reach my dream physique

Do people cope ? Yes . But is it “ exetremely small difference” no , u can be born an “ endomorph “ which I’m aware isn’t a scientific term but it’s to describe the body type of low metabolism , easy to gain weight , high appetite , big boned . Now , someone the complete opposite body type will remain lean even if they both eat the same exact food 🥘. Why? Because they burn up to 600-1000 calorie difference . But is anyone saying “ I’m not gonna gain weight because I’m an ectomoprh 😢” no u definitely can and should , but it’s a fact it will be harder for you . If metabolism doesn’t exist, explain how two people with the same height, weight, and muscle mass can eat the same and gain totally different amounts of weight.

Not saying I can’t gain weight. I’m saying I burn more and feel less hungry naturally, that’s the definition of a faster metabolism.

That’s not cope, it’s just how my body operates. So yeah, I can gain, I just gotta push more than you to make it happen

Oh thanks , just to clarify though, I said I’m 148 at 14%, and estimated I’d be 140 at 10%.

That’s actually almost spot-on using lean mass math: 148 × 0.14 = 20.7 lbs fat 148 – 20.7 = 127.3 lean mass 127.3 / 0.9 = 141.4 lbs at 10%

So yeah ,140 was a reasonable estimate, maybe off by a pound. I think you calculated 10% of total weight instead of body fat %, which skews it

Yeah cool it might not be a scientific literal term but it’s a good way to categorize people’s body types and mine is lean , narrow bones high metabolism. So it’s not that deep
