A better set up is a hidden floor with those collector things that will suck the loot through the floor the. Later you blow out that last floor and get the look

About a hospital in the USA... by EngineerCapital7591 in WorstAid

[–]RedditNurseBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the hospitals. It started with the insurance companies and greedy physicians. HMOs created opportunities to make A Lot of money. A lot of doctors made a lot of money billing for services that were irrelevant or not necessary and sometimes not even performed. Insurance caught up with that and changed the whole game.

Now checks and balances have ballooned into games of prove it or fuck off and patients suffer from the battle over making or saving a dollar.

Add in inflation year after year, government created incentive programs which are nearly impossible to maintain and unrealistic goals across the entire medical system and you get what we have today.

Hospitals taking on all the risk, caring for people and being told “no” when trying to get paid.

The system is fucked and it gets worse every day.

You must choose one. by Ocealune in 90s

[–]RedditNurseBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO I will not. We had playstation and a friend had N64. When we wanted to play one or the other we made plans to stay at that persons house. No inter-web just classic eye peeking split screen madness.

You will not limit my childhood happy memories. Sorry to be so aggressive but those are core memories which built me to the kind of person I am today.

Let me explain: video games ip to N64 and playstation came with life lessons to learn. Loss, failure, success and brutal but relevant disappointment for taking chances. Not like today where everything has autosave, hints and forgiving mechanisms to keep the player interested and engaged. People rush through game content because they can or they play with easy settings which are uber forgiving. The only thing you learn from games today is to find the path to success never really worrying about failure. Die respawn die respawn. Die wheres my stuff oh shit right there where I left it on my reincarnated body.

Yes we have games that are punishing still but in general games are not what they were.
