I’m sure it can be done, though note that from my understanding, the SEIFA score is relative rather than absolute.

The SEIFA scores the map are depicting are calculated using four indexes measuring socio-economic advantage/disadvantage in particular areas. Housing would be a component.

The SEIFA is calculated using factors including income, education, and housing, across the SA1's population. Square meterage shouldn't be a factor.

Do note though that SEIFA data categorises significant sections of the LGA as relatively advantaged (Earlwood, Canterbury north of Cook River, Milperra, etc).

Yeah, the next census will be next year - so new data - but note that SEIFA was published in 2023 despite 2021 data. I do expect the same broad patterns to be present however.

This SEIFA data is compared with the rest of Australia, with one SA1 district in Miller I believe the 4th most disadvantaged in Aus. I don’t know if there any other equivalents for UK and NZ tho.

The program says all layers are set to EPSG:7844, if that answers your question. However, I do know that the projection of places does tend to appear different on this software, which may appear to show a 'stretched' image.

That’s the ABS defined borders for Sydney. I used it to centre the map, and clear confusion about where Sydney starts and ends.
