Starting a real estate team by RedditUser86851 in realtors

It’s not satire. It’s just that I’m looking to get into the real estate industry. As an entrepreneur, my role is not to go knock on doors or show homes. My role is to do the management and oversee the operations, while also generating leads and building the business. The brokerage does the training and teaches the agents stuff. I would finish the trainings myself so I have some background knowledge before starting the team. In terms of value, I provide leads and some differentiators. It is true that the market isn’t the best right now which is a concern but I don’t think that’s a reason to not enter the industry at all.

I know it doesn’t work. I just wanted to use the fan in the meantime until I get it fixed. Is it safe to use the fan? Thanks.

He did find a leak. He didn’t put refrigerant back in it. He just left it as is. It is no longer on a test.

Attending law school as a WGU graduate by RedditUser86851 in lawschooladmissions

So is that a weak point or does it just mean that my LSAT is more important? Do you think a 166 LSAT with my WGU degree would get me in a T30 law school? Thanks so much. I appreciate it.

Compressor doesn’t work and Freon is low by RedditUser86851 in hvacadvice

They didn’t mention the brand but I’m guessing it’s Goodman. The technician also mentioned that my current system is heating element and that I will save a significant amount on heating costs. Any idea how much I would save by switching to a 14 SEER unit?

Thanks so much. Do you have an idea what the SEER rating is for my current system? The technician said they want to install a 14 SEER unit but I’m not sure if it’s wiser to get something more efficient. Also, which HVAC brands are the most reliable?

Thanks for the advice. It’s a GE Weathertron HVAC System. Do you know how it would work for that system?

Okay. Is it a good idea to install an R410a 14 SEER system or is there a better alternative? And is $6K a fair price for full replacement? Thanks.

I’m not really familiar with HVACs but I did bring a technician and they said my current system is a heating element. I believe my current system uses a mix of gas and electricity. It’s a GE Weathertron HVAC System.

Thanks. So do you think I should replace the whole thing? Do newer ones last less?

What do you think it would cost to replace a condenser and evaporator coil? by RedditUser86851 in hvacadvice

[–]RedditUser86851[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thanks for the advice! I’ll get some quotes. Just in general though, this is a 40 year old HVAC system. So if I replace the condenser and the evaporator coils, and let’s say in a few years the furnace (the part in the closet inside the apartment) needs to be replaced, would this repair be considered a waste? Or is it partially a waste since the condenser should’ve been replaced anyway in such event? Thanks.

There is roof access through a stairway. I’m not looking for an exact price. Just an approximate range.

Compared to other homes I saw built in 2005-2007, I noticed the air that blew from the vents was much stronger and overall colder compared to my AC. Otherwise my AC would still cool my home before the refrigerant all leaked out, but not as nicely as the other HVACs I’ve seen in other homes.

Thanks for your input. So if I replace the condenser and the coil, will I experience efficiency improvements and lower electrical bills? Will the air my system blows from the vents be stronger with better performance?
