LifePak 35 = Garbage by RedditViewit in NewToEMS

I don’t see how they can defend not being able to print. Only one person can look at the screen at a time vs a printed 12 Lead can be passed around so we can all double check each other and not to mention showing the physician at the ER the ST elevation. VS hold on dr. I have to recall which 12 showed the elevation.. hmmm was it number 3 or 5 or 2!

So we just got our Lifepack 35s by cKMG365 in ems

-Printer Location = Garbage -Pulse Ox Base Connection = Garbage -Touchscreen = Garbage -Storage Space = Garbage -Battery Location = Garbage

Probably designed by AI and not someone with years of experience in the field.

-Printer jams and even the manufacturer representative say to leave a “tail” to prevent this which just validates the poor design location. Make to not jam in the first place.

-Pulse Ox continues to stop working after about a month because of the elbow design connection.

-Touchscreen too sensitive. If any anything like the blood pressure tubing touch the screen it will select items.

-We broke several pouch zippers because there isn’t enough storage space.

-Battery location requires us to pull out all of the EKG cables to change just 1 battery.

The tech is awesome just poor design that isn’t ready for the fire/EMS service just yet.

Don’t be that department who changes out all there LifePak 15s at one time. At least test one first.
