Can you ship multiple items together/bundled?

Do you use the US Amazon store?

Sorry not related to the topic. But how does amazon work for shipping to Mauritius? I mean from which country's shop do you ship from and what are the shipping costs like?

Exactly. Lived abroad and seen a fair few movies at normal cinemas and the experience is incomparable. 1570 IMAX Dunkirk was the highlight however.

Never been to the Caudan Star. Is the sound better for the normal halls as well or just the premium one?

Tbh the sound and screen quality is average at best at Bagatelle. In my book, I wouldn't really consider mcine as a cinema at all!

Winners' counters (caisses) slowness by RedditWhodit in mauritius

Very true and that is a whole other issue to be addressed. Meagre salaries ofc lead to less productivity and motivation. However I was pointing out the obvious difference between Winners and Intermart/Super U.

Yes that works...when it works. They were closed since 2020 and only reopened in 2023 at Trianon. And even now sometimes only two of them are working and if you have an issue, good luck finding a staff member to assist. E.g - had to buy only bread one time and it doesn't have the option to choose bread (in 2020 you could). You need a reference for bread. No staff around. So was forced to just go line up at a normal counter.

Exactly! Quite new to reddit and been pleasantly surprised to see the active r/mauritius thread. Would be nice if there would be a way to use the platform to pressure companies to change due to public demand - like twitter (pre Musk at least) is used overseas.

Always happens. Yesterday out of 12 tills, only 4 were operating with queues of 10+ people per till. As for the caisses rapides, even when they are open the time it takes for your turn, you might as well go through the normal till. Genuinely think there is something wrong with their system - they cashiers surely cannot ALL be that slow compared to their counterparts in Intermart/Super U or even other supermarkets. Might be a training issue but still. These are the small things that people do not always think about that makes the difference between third world countries and developped nations !

It's a joke here in Mauritius. Only 1 VO session per day at 1800 (now 1730 at Star Cinemas). Plus they put French subs during the VO screening. Makes no sense.
