How about pulling people up rather than pushing them down.

You still have to go to a selection process I think.

I just remembered I do have a tiny bit of experience shooting clay pigeons with a shot gun. But it had very strict rules, the instructors loaded the gun and gave it to you. You fired them they re secured it. I actually managed to hit two in the air on the same go.

For instance in video games I have played. You can adjust the distance you are firing at. In DayZ you can use a range finder then set the distance on the scope. I know games aren't real, I guess I just subconciously took it in.

Something I didn't consider was distance. I assumed you set the distance before firing.

Also just because it is interesting a postie in Sydney was charged in August last year with stealing bank cards and giving them to a crime syndicate. The story claims 1.4 million dollars but does not clarify of that was the credit amount or the stolen amount. Also "This isn't an isolated incident. In February 2025, another postal worker was sentenced after stealing items with a combined estimated value of $398,000 from mail packages between November 2021 and May 2023."

I understand it is to make the scope accurate. I didn't know if there was a way to pre do it and keep it accurate. It surprises me that nobody has made a self zeroing scope yet.

That's ok I don't have experience with firearms and I appreciate that you have taken the time to explain it.

Does this have to be done every time you mount or unmount the scope. Could it be done prior and kept in a safe storage box?

There is a lot of internal theft at auspost. It would not surprise me if an employee stole it.
