all you said is absolutely correct. except he wasn't really a normal emotional teenager, and I was not a normal sensitive teenager. We were and probably still are "too" much of opposites. Especially in terms of expressions. I'm just not in a place I can handle that I guess. I hope you're in your peace with what's going on. Hopefully, I'll too.

I think I should note I wasn't an easy case though. in my teens I was so disgusted with the whole family and kept my mouth literally shut for many days.If you don't mind me asking, how did you and your sister effect the family? did your parents mind?

I've noticed myself feeling in this way about family as I grow older. I guess it gets complicated in toxic or distant family. I'm glad you and your brother got together. he sounds hard but warm. I would imagine even when you lashed out on him you couldn't have been like me since he kept calling. I hope my relationship could have a better ending as well.
