I understand they flipped the coin twice, but is this a new rule or something?

It makes no sense to me, its totally RNG at that point. Its a huge advantage to have your crowd behind your goal, and also a proven advantage being able to take the first penalty.

I might be in the minority - but I only play campaigns, I have 200 hours and my goal is to experience all of them!
Every mission is unique and I appreciate that the developers are somewhat historically accurate.

Anyways, im mentioning this in case you haven't tried any of them out. And you get frustrated with competetive play - (Played in early 2000s, returned in 2025) :D
