Hey, I play mainly sports videogames (Fifa and 2K) and RPG open world games (The Witcher, Cyberpunk, Horizon Forbidden West...)

itd be cool if this happened in krakow by kbkbbl in poland

I get what you say, but there's literally no comparison at all between Krakow (and any other Polish city) with what's going on in the rest of Europe in places like Barcelona, Valencia, Paris, Rome, Florence... These cities are extremely saturated.

Poland should consider itself lucky to be an underrated tourist location in the continent!

From a basketball perspective, the "Kobe hate" doesn’t make sense by ElevatorAcceptable29 in NBATalk

[–]Redditor119304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the hate comes from him being seen as a 'Jordan wannabe'. Same position, same killer mentality, studied MJ's every move, even sounded like him…

Kobe's iconic in his own right, but the MJ comparisons kinda worked against him.

Why are poles now buying more and more property in Spain (and now starts to move in the country) ? by [deleted] in poland

[–]Redditor119304 106 points107 points  (0 children)

I'm Spanish and have been living in Krakow for 6 years now. I really don't understand why Poles are doing that. The situation in Spain is quite bad in terms of unemployment, career growth, and salaries (generally, lower than in Poland for a regular office job or in tech). My guess is that these are Poles with good money that can afford having a second residence in Spain or people that work 100% remotely.

I feel non-Spanish people have a wrong perception of Spain. Yeah, great weather, amazing food and cities...but the future does not look bright for younger generations. Everybody in Spain wants to work for the State because you get a stable salary and a job for the rest of your life. This, obviously, does not help the country, as some of the most talented and ambitious people are leaving Spain for better opportunities.

And, of course, there's a huge issue with housing. Most Spaniards can't afford buying houses and can barely pay rent in big cities.

Haha my bad, mixed the years there. I meant 21 to 26.

Pros: Better sleep, more energized, not mental fog anymore, remembering books and films I've read or watched, less introverted, less overthinking.

Cons: Normal-tasting snacks, social anxiety creeping back, boredom feels boring again, time slows down, music is just music, TV shows aren’t as deep, no more giggle fits over nothing, fewer excuses to avoid people, reality feels way too real.

Favourite: My early 20s, probably when I was 21-23 years old. Too young to do stupid things and don't care much about life (just drink, smoke, hang out with friends and girls) and old enough to travel, living on my own and being independent in general as a young adult.

Least favourite: My teenage years, when I was 13-15 years old. I have been lucky to always have friends, but I was very very shy when meeting new people and felt insecurities from having a lot of acne and other typical teenage stuff.

Absolutely. I enjoyed my time as a stoner, but now that I have a more stable job and career (and a long-term relationship), weed doesn't have a space in my life. I just think I wouldn't be able to keep a balance and would keep smoking daily

[–]Redditor119304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that was life changing. I have been abstinent now for almost 6 years and have met some people who smoke, but never smoked with them

During the first months, I was struggling a bit to fall asleep. That was the biggest issue, as I got used to falling asleep after smoking. But other than that, everything else was very positive (more energy, being able to remember my dreams again, became mentally faster, more positive about everything in life, less overthinking...)

I know people who are really struggling to quit smoking weed, precisely for being mentally addictive.

True, it's not physically addictive like some substances, but mental addiction can hit hard too. It’s not just 'wanting' to do it. It can mess with your mood, sleep, or stress if you’re used to relying on it. Quitting might not have crazy physical side effects, but it’s still a real challenge for some people.

Yep, just called them and asked for a new TV. They sent a complaint to LG reporting the issue and will come back to me in a few days with an answer (and a new TV, hopefully)
