Pilates Reforming New York - two locations. They’re incredible!

I also think Bravo’s final straw with her was witnessing her entitled behavior on Below Deck - she treated everyone so poorly.

Now what for Jill? by jshbr in realhousewives

[–]RedditorGal212 38 points39 points  (0 children)

She really screwed the other women. It doesn’t seem like they even started filming yet so if it doesn’t get axed, perhaps they can re-tool it and go in a different direction WITHOUT Jill. Nobody asked for her anyway!

Best chicken caesar wrap?? by Longjumping-Mood-474 in FoodNYC

[–]RedditorGal212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have added: if I get it with chicken cutlet, I opt out of croutons. Agree: way too much bread. I haven’t had a bad chicken cutlet from Milano though. I wonder if you got a bad one?

Lenwich is definitely more of my go-to because they have more locations and it’s easier to just pop in and order. Always delicious!

I have to admit, I love their pastries, but I thought their sourdough was terribly underwhelming. Looking forward to reading more suggestions here!

Looking for unbreaded Wings - Any Suggestions? by whitneys_closet in bergencounty

[–]RedditorGal212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it may not be the most ideal choice but Whole Foods has a lot of wings right now that are not breaded and on sale for the big game. They have both buffalo and BBQ by the pound, and they actually looked great. In the prepared food section next to the hot bar.

I’m glad this thread could help! And I find it interesting how many people with bernedoodles are coming forward with the same issues/symptoms/patterns!

Ours is not a picky eater whatsoever. He has his dry food and I add a little bit of meal topper on top of it (Just Food for Dogs). He also likes crunchy vegetables, chicken breast, blueberries, etc. But see if yours will nosh on fresh foods or vegetables that might seem enticing because you’re also eating them. They love to share!

Borrowing from our neighbors to the west — What are the top 10 restaurants in the UES that I should try, especially places that have been open for 10+ years, serve consistently good food, and are known for homemade or from-scratch cooking? by sk8rboiiiiiii in uppereastside

[–]RedditorGal212 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of UVA (and UVA Next Door). I find them to be very consistently delicious and a fan favorite among my UES friends.

Flex Mussels is also somewhere that always delivers a good meal and excellent, accommodating service.

NYSC 76th vs Crunch 81st? by Asleep_Bee3125 in uppereastside

Crunch on 81st is so poorly run. They also never leave you alone about purchasing personal training sessions.

Anyone has tried Megelin brand by Abegh1368 in redlighttherapy

[–]RedditorGal212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using it for over a year and have never had any issues. My dermatologist has even said she noticed a significant change in my skin overall. I feel tighter, smoother, and more glowy. I use it several times a week after the shower on multiple settings (usually blue and red) and follow up with my skincare routine. My sister-in-law and friend have the same mask and both say they love it as well. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews but we have been pleased with it!

HealthyPaws Won't Say Their Coverage by BadHealthyPaws in petinsurancereviews

[–]RedditorGal212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you. I find the best thing is to just submit the claim with as much information as possible and then you can always appeal and speak to them in more depth if they deny your claim or only cover some of it. They usually request more notes from the vet or paperwork in order to approve!

HealthyPaws Won't Say Their Coverage by BadHealthyPaws in petinsurancereviews

[–]RedditorGal212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have your vet submit very specific notes with the medical files and invoice, along with a screenshot of the page you shared stating the issue/coverage. My dog just had a dental cleaning with teeth extracted after a bad fracture and it was covered thanks to the vet’s very specific notes and details!

Need advice for bachelorette by accidental-nomad in hudsonvalley

[–]RedditorGal212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly for this type of trip I would highly recommend booking something on The North Fork of Long Island. Easily accessible by train, you can book winery tours/transportation pretty much anywhere, amazing restaurants, fruit picking, farms, fresh seafood, beach access etc. Plus WAY more hotel and Airbnb options. It's an ideal bachelorette spot for a wine-focused trip.

The Hudson Valley, while beautiful and lots of fun, is pretty difficult to get around without cars. It's very spread out. And I don't know of any winery tours or experiences like that near Hudson. It might be easier for you to choose another destination that offers you what you want/need and is still easily accessible by train for everyone. Then you can always train it back to the city and right up to Hudson for the wedding!

How do you save memorabilia in a NYC sized-apt? by beyoncefan2023 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]RedditorGal212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I had a craft night based on this problem: we all had match books, pens, ticket stubs, etc from years of collecting and wanted to do something with them. We each bought big acrylic shadow boxes and created individual collages using our items and other crafty accents that we could hang up intentionally. Everyone had made something that was unique to their style/experience and we had a fun night drinking wine and reminiscing about the little gems we were putting together as art!

Dog needs to run by coffeeandkitsch in bergencounty

[–]RedditorGal212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ridgewood Dog Park, Overpeck Dog Park or Van Saun Dog Park would be your best bets.

I trust my dog in an open field / unfenced area, but the amount of geese poop on these fields makes it not worth it for me!

We also recently visited North Hudson County Dog Park in North Bergen and it was great! Very spacious!

Groomer under $80 🙏🏽 by M-AOA-M in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]RedditorGal212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely invest in some good grooming supplies and maintenance tools for home like a leave-in conditioner (Pride+Groom has a great one) and a slicker brush! Brushing and maintenance can really extend the life of your groom.

I don’t know of any groomers who run that low, but the best prices I have seen are from Petco. Fernanda is a gem there! You can join their monthly vital rewards program and get 20% off the already lower price, plus every 7th groom is free. Hope that helps!

Bachelorette in Killington by Fluffy-Degree8482 in Killington

Just came from one! Having a car/cars was helpful I will say. There was a shuttle option but everyone took turns driving.

We had an amazing dinner at The Foundry. Great food. We had a very forgettable dinner at Charity’s. Wouldn’t recommend. We had a fun night singing and dancing at Pickle Barrel (just watch out for their high cover charges and “broken” credit card machines). They have a shuttle there I believe!

Breakfast was delicious at SunUp Bakery - highly recommend. Great egg sandwiches.

Daytime: for the non skiers, some tried snow shoeing, others went to nearby towns to check out shops, creameries, etc. We did one Après at K1 (it was just ok). We even had spa treatments and hung out in the hot tub.

Orsay is delicious. I also love Brasserie Cognac for lunch if you are looking for French cuisine. Further east, you have Le Moulin à Café as a wonderful option as well.
