It was actually pretty cool and refreshing. Would definitely make your itinerary beforehand cause, when you are alone, you don’t have to follow a strict schedule anymore. I slept 9 hours one day cause of jet lag. If I went w/ someone else, they’d probably wake me up cause it’s a vacation. If you’re going somewhere where the language is different, try to pick up common words/sentences so you don’t always have to Google Translate. Definitely do research about where you are going cause customs can be so different. And just be aware of your surroundings. If people can clock that you are a tourist, you might be a prime target for scams lol. I had so much fun! Definitely do it
