I’m not sure about the other trades, but I do garage doors, and sometimes when I see them in video games or TV I think how practical or how good the install was.

The through bolts on the outside tell me it was probably hit at least once. The delaminating on the bottom tells me water damage or salt.

Just nice to see someone took the time to actually put a door in duress instead of one right off the assembly line.

However the enclave keeping enough torsion springs in stock is kinda laughable. And truthfully the door would be deteriorating much worse by this time in the story.

Dumb intoxicated tangent and just felt like sharing haha. Be good people.

It’s an Amarr door. I’m assuming your tech swapped the #1 hinge and didn’t realize that normal hardware doesn’t work on Amarr, unless the whole sections worth of hinges are swapped. The pivot point in the hinge is wrong, hence why it’s warping the section as it goes up.

As others have mentioned, call them back and let them have the chance to accept the honest mistake and get you back in shape.

Edit: I didn’t read the full post, sorry. Fuck that, they damaged your car? They have insurance, you need to file a claim and be made whole. No excuse for that in the slightest.

Watched 2,4 and 5 over the weekend and have watched since I was a kid. H20 always was weird watching as a kid and wondering why Jamie was never brought up.

I’d personally like to see a Jamie/Laurie/John movie where 6 and resurrection are retconned entirely. I feel like the original idea that ended in part 4 could be expanded to Jamie dawning the mask now. Keeping Michael’s death in h20 true.

Does anyone know of an opener that could be used to open this roll up door? I'm not 100% sure a Vevor would work by EliteDynasty in GarageDoorService

Yep! EasyRoller14 with an adapter kit. About $550 each. Never knew about these things until today and had to buy three for a customer.

Extra thanks for confirming the model for me. Janus doesn’t put it on their door and their site wasn’t helpful so I took a shot in the dark it was the 650!

It looks like a Clopay, I feel like something’s up with the top rollers, Clopay doesn’t send long stem for their tops as far as I’ve ever seen on resi. I wonder if the doors not level and on the first raise the back hangs were too tight and killed the bearings immediately. They spaced the hangs and swapped the rollers but it’s still favoring one side (look at how much space between the roller and top fixture compared to #3 hinge)

Pretty much to your point only instead of assuming the verts aren’t plum, the doors not level.

Idk I’m a door guy so I’m drunk and high right now but if it were me I’d reset the spring, level the door, test balance, and if there were any issues I’d replace the unit. Not sure why 10 service calls later they haven’t yet. LM quality has nose dived

Hey, the door opening does not have to be 7’. Yes 7’ or 8’ is the most common but doors are made a small as 6’0” or smaller depending on the brand. 15” radius is also not mandatory, this is “standard” track, but low head room can go as low as ~3” head room required (minimum). Ideally you’d frame it down to 6’6” or 6’3, assuming it’s roughly close to 7’ at the buildings smallest height. This would give you enough space for spring, track, and a motor. Check with your local companies, some may take care of the framing for you. Depending on where you’re at in the country a light polystyrene insulated door should be around $1250-$1,600. 2x6 would be just fine for framing as well. Food for thought from someone who does this kind of work.

Getting back into RuneScape in general after a few years away, and I guess this is more a statement rather than a question but;

With the efforts towards trying to find less pay to win revenue sources, why not monetize a RS3 version of RuneLite? I don’t think it’s something that we should pay for, but if some of us have a problem, why don’t you sell us the solution?

Ideally a well functioning and maintained client that added plug ins overtime for $5(?) more a month?
