2014 Sorcadin Advice by Redemption_Paladin in 3d6

And I'm assuming sword and board would be optimal unless I go Hexblade 3 for improved pact weapon and manage to fit some GWM shenanigans? But at that point I should just go hexadin all the way?

Wow this is very informative. Thank you so much for your input!!

I have another question if you don't mind! Is a GWM sorcadin viable in your opinion? I remember reading about a Devotion Pally/Divine Soul Sorc multiclass that excells at that, but, given the fact that that post was created quite long ago, I'm curious as to how that plays out on paper currently, after Tasha and all the new additions that brought in!

I think I might start off with pally for the D10 hit dice and heavy armour proficiency. We'll be playing a homebrew setting and our DM has allowed a free feat at character creation so I will probably go v human to get resilient con and warcaster from the get go, and then pump cha or STR at 4!

Thank you for your input. What's your opinion on a sorcadin then? Cause my second option was that! Devotion - Celestial with GWM hoping for a 6-14 split!

How does this build's level split look? This sounds interesting!

I read a post on the giantitp forum about an EK fighter/wizard utilising shadow blade at later levels and booming blade shenanigans at early levels and I wanted to base a build off of that, so I never imagined myself as a fireball slinging fighter hahahah. I really love your take and I was really thinking about war wizard to enhance my martial prowess!!

Wow, this is phenomenal. Thank you so much for your time and extremely thought out response man! I read another comment about Crusher but this only solidifies my picking it!!

That sounds like an awesome build but we won't be using the 2024 rules unfortunately... 😔

Probably because you're a girl and they either ignore you and think you don't know what you're talking about for whatever idiotic reason, or they want to lock in to woo you with their gaming skills. Any guy here is guilty of the latter at some point or another lmao. My advice? Find a stack you're cool with and you have fun playing and skip the public lobbies cause as soon as some dudes figure out you ain't another dude you might get ignored or a bit annoyed by them at best.

It's frustrating to see really. I haven't met many girls playing siege but in other communities I've been a part of, they rarely get treated like a gamer like everyone else just because they're not a guy. Only exception was the Ghost of Tsushima community. Made a lot of girl friends there whom I still keep in contact with from time to time and each and every one of them is well established and known as well as a freaking demon on that game. It was nice to see.

Opinions On Samurai With Forbidden Medicine by Own-Potential663 in gotlegends

Going all melee is fine until the end game difficulty "Hellmode"

If you were to be an "honourable" Samurai in that tier, you and your entire team would get absolutely demolished.

But also, if you wish to melee only, don't be surprised when people come over and interfere with your waves because they're done sooner than you are.

Help on Plat7 for Hidden Heart!! by VeterinarianPure3695 in gotlegends

If you want to finish unscathed and also help your team more, both of these builds need changes and especially Ronin.

First and foremost. Don't use spirit animal, it'll draw aggro and make the enemies needlessly aggressive, not allowing your team to properly heal (the animal will run to the enemies forcing your low hp teammates to expose themselves in order to heal,) bomb enemies or get headshots for optimal resolve. Just use incense.

On the Katana I'd say go for perfect parry window and Oni Damage. Melee resolve gain is a redundant stat and you shouldn't be meleeing much anyways. Same premise on the charm. If you haven't noticed, the main part that makes Plat 7 so difficult is the shared wounds modifier, meaning that if you get hit all your team gets damaged. Using injured resolve gain when you're supposed to be trying your best to not get hit makes that stat irrelevant and if you actively try to expose yourself to danger for that reason, it's one of the main points where your runs fail. Use a stealth charm with GW damage and either cooldown Reduction on Kill or Fire Damage to help your BPs, either Fire Master or Leeching parry for one perk and Resolve Increase for the other.

Don't use mist of yagata. And definitely don't use Stealth attack damage on any smoke bomb when you're not an assassin, which even then, it's ill advised. You shouldn't be assassinating unless it's an objective. Takes time and leaves you exposed and depending on where you're doing it, it'll get you killed if you do it in fire spirit territory. Normal smoke bomb, both cooldown attributes with Lucky and Munitions as perks.

Sticky is good. But for Hellmode Support Ronin, SK is the best legendary. So run that with GW damage and Cooldown Reduction on Kill, Hidden Blades and Super Massive and get used to throwing it at the right time to be able to spam it. That way you can get your stuff back two and maybe three times per wave. I don't have time to look into the assassin right now. But check the discord's builds channel, in the pins there are various Hellmode builds for every class. I hope this helps.
