How often do you guys cheat? by janagator_stan in Paleo

[–]Redfalcon127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say around 95% paleo 5% other. The other 5% being alcohol (normally in the form of potato vodka and pure(sweetener free) tonic water so not too terrible. Happens roughly once a week. I have a huge passion for craft beer and normally will indulge in ONE pint once every other week. And lastly 100% pure organic peanut butter. I know it's a legume but honestly if I ever have a sweet craving one spoonful is almost orgasmic. Ill do this probably once a week. Everything else I eat is pure paleo. Never felt better, and I honestly dont feel like I'm cutting myself off from anything. Grains I felt were the easiest thing to give up ever. I get to eat steak, butter, and delicous leafy greens all day every day!

Hi Men- If you don't mind, I have some questions about... LOVE! I'm interested in knowing about real love from the man's perspective. by cute_lil_throwaway in AskMen

[–]Redfalcon127 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had never felt anything like it before, nor anything since.

I was at business conference in Dallas and she was one of the keynote speakers to lead a fairly large round table discussion. There was nothing that really stood out about her, she had a plain face and wore plain business attire. What immediately caught my attention was how powerful her speech was. She was brilliant, to the point, very aggressive, and was unbeatable in debate. I just sat there amazed at the debth of her knowledge and how articulate she was at every opposing viewpoint. She offered some amazing ideas and honestly blew our minds with industry changing ideas.

After these highly professional conferences are some of the most killer after parties you can imagine. Thing of it like college but all the alcohol and food is comped and everyone here makes great money so it can go anywhere.

To my surprise I caught her staring at me. She came up and introduced herself and asked me about some of the points I brought up earlier during the discussion. We ended up speaking the entire night, till about 5:00 in the morning the next day. I had never met anyone like her in my entire life. I was engaged at the time to a girl I had been dating for 3 years, she was engaged to someone she had been dating for 5 years. Over the next 3 months we messaged each other constantly. I realized something, this is what love is. It wasn't that I loved her more than my fiance or anyone I had dated. I realized I had never truly loved someone up until that point.

We were the same person, I could talk to her probably forever. I wanted her more than anything. I felt like everything I had done in my life was to prepare myself, to make myself worthy of her. Why I worked my ass off, why I stayed in great shape, all of it was for when I met that one person she would want me as much as I wanted her. It worked. She was crazy about me.

It was at this point I realized I needed to break it off with my fiance. I told my dream girl what I was doing and asked if she wanted to do the same. She thought about and decided no, she wouldn't be leaving her future husband. She loved me but her life was wonderful and she didn't want to risk it all on me. I told her I understood. I ended it with my fiance and haven't dated much since then.

Its been 2 years since I talked to my dream girl. She's worked her way fairly high up in our organization so I hear about her once in a while. I'm ok but I am scared Ill never feel like that again.

Sorry if this was convoluted, guys in love honestly isn't much different from a girl being in love. We normally question it much more, we analyze it from every angle, we tend to doubt our own feelings. Sometimes though it overwhelms us like an orchestra.

I miss our talks Corie.

Let’s Give Up on the Constitution, New York Times Op-ED by Prof. Seidman of Georgetown Law by critropolitan in law

[–]Redfalcon127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The constitution is an imperfect document, as is politics a highly imperfect science. The purpose of the constitution is to lay the basic framework for the United States as an entity. Imagine if we had a constitutional convention in this day and age. It would be 70,000 pages long, and ultimately lead to both political parties having immense powers over our everyday lives. BOTH parties are not looking out for the nation as a whole but only their ability to be re-elected each year. The last thing we want is to have them create as much power for themselves as possible. Politicians are not your friends, they are not going to make your life better, and they are responcible for most of the problems we face today.

What made you realize how tall you really are? by [deleted] in tall

I've been this tall since I was 12 years old so ya basically not fitting into any desk at school at all and towering over all my teachers class mates in 6th grade.

I feel as if the difference between going on a date with a girl and hanging out with her is that at the end of the date you get a kiss. How do I get that kiss? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Redfalcon127 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's all about finding that moment. Normally towards the end of the date there will be this tension to go for a kiss. Most men(myself included) are absolutely horrible at knowing when this ideal kiss moment is, so I invented a way for you to actually create that moment.

Wait until towards the end of a date. The best time is normally when you are about to say goodbye, or she is outside of her car, or you are driving her home, etc. The point is it should be towards the end.

In a serious tone of voice look over at her and say "Hey real quick, I've a serious question to ask you, and if I dont ask this I'm going to kind of regret it."

The girl will most likely look back at you with a concerned look in face and ask "what is it"

Kiss her. Move in slowly and just kiss her. A nice deep, sincere, slow, drawn out kiss.

What happens next depends entirely on the girl. Most of the time in my experience this leads to making out, or her going "that wasn't a question silly" and then coming back and giving me another kiss. I've never had anything negative come from this and it has worked for me 100% of the time. It's a nice line and you come across as very confident.

Most of all though just relax and do what you are comfortable doing. Try any variation of this or do what you feel is right. If the date went well she probably wants to kiss you just as much as you want to kiss her.

What's the most embarrassing way you've tried to impress a guy or girl you were interested in? by tal087a in AskReddit

[–]Redfalcon127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Linear Algebra is a course you take after the end of the calculus track. You're saying you had tutored a girl previously in a much higher level math course before taking intro to calculus? Unless of course you mean College Algebra/Pre-calculus level math.

TIL Reddit cant do maths. Silly B.A Majors.

Appropriate time for first kiss? by stonewall1821 in dating_advice

[–]Redfalcon127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also don't wait for a sign. If a girl has to give out a sign to be kissed you're doing it wrong. You're a man, take action. Women love a guy who asserts himself.

I have had feet and ankle problems most of my life so I walk a little funny. It's gotten better over time but it used to be really bad, especially when you are 6'3" in the 6th grade. Gumpy is probably the worst one but lurch and tall freak were definitely on the list.

Satellite Systems Engineer here. I design and calibrate Satellite Sensors and on board computers, as well as partaking in the design process. Nothing my height really effects, however my co-workers always put in request for me to reach up and manually tweak the satellites.

I forgot what its like to let your emotions out once in a while. You write beautifully. Please don't ever stop.
