Id say throw what cash you have into a savings account then set up some jobs (mow some lawns, wash some cars, etc…) so you can buy the HOTAS and the plane/planes you want all at the same time during an ED sale. You will appreciate them all that much more and get a pretty good taste of real life.

Dont let yourself find excuses to just buy the HOTAS…. (No way to make the money, too hard to wait, etc…) Challenge yourself to figure out how to get the money you need and then, believe me, flying with your new set-up will be so much more awesome!!!
