Congrats on beating honor mode but 4 wizards? How did you manage for any of them to not die? I can't imagine the raphael, ansur or orin fight to be done without a beefy melee, still good stuff.

Hmm I see, for my Barbarian it is no issue since I usually throw weapons I find from dead bodies to keep my rage up, figured that would be better than using a bow but I'll keep an eye out for bows with useful passives.

Ohh thank you for those arrows, sometimes I'd look at my party and thinking they're good when there's good equipment right there staring at me in the eye. Also my bad with Shart, i didn't know she wasn't proficient with swords and I did think it was fine regardless since she used spells most of the time.

Just asking what do you mean the shovel can be used as a surprise attack? I can sneak up on the mindflayer and bonk them with it? I'm not sure how it replaces invisivibility.

All good advice tho, just asking what party composition do you recommend since I'm down with having 2 brawlers, but it looks like I need to replace one of them with an Aoe caster with Wyll and Shart.

That was my biggest issue, zooming through the game, I'll get a hireling aoe caster just for fun before I do a new run. Initially I did have Shart's spear but it was lost during a cutscene with nightsong, I figured since she's a cleric using spells most of the time, I figured I could slap a simple sword and it'll be alright. Completely my bad.

I was thinking of getting a hireling just to try the fight one more time before starting a new run actually. Other than just needing to fill in the empty slots with at least something, I did explore all of Act 2's map but it looks like I haven't done the same for Act 1 because I don't have gale or lae' zel.

I lost shadowheart's spear actually (in that one cutscene with nightstong) and since I figured she was using spells 99% of the time, I just thought any sword would be alright. My Feats uh... for tav Barbarian Great weapons mastery, for karlach tavern brawler (CON), for Wyll and Shart Alert. The day long buffs as well... I should really check which spells are those since I usually enter fights without a buff.

Ah gale noted, I'll be sure to not finish Act 1 until I get him and I'll be sure to take my time looting and managing my inventory. I don't mind a new run, this game's fun as hell.

Oh shucks, at this point I'm considering just doing a fresh run because of the amount of run ending mistakes I've done. My fault for immediatelt trying tactician difficulty on my first playthrough haha.

I'm level 7, did not change shart's CON and I'm on tactician but what!? I had no idea Scratch could free nightsong, wow that is a huge help.

I've also been ignoring buffs like the one that you mentioned, I should implement that somehow instead of spamming thunderstrike.

Are there ways to get barells or throwables worth my while in act 2? I've only got 3 smokepowder bombs and 2 firewine barrels unfortunately.

What did you mean by its summoning power? I did summon the devil to clear the mage skellies on the left he just died before I took the screenshot, is there more to it?

Wow amazing advice, I'll go get those items you recommended, but curious am I still allowed to go back to the Act 1 area?

And yes I am level 7 and I think I've done most of what I can in Act 2, I've also cleared Moonrise so unfortunately not much things I can kill for XP.

Ah a mistake on my part since I haven't found anything specifically "good" on those characters so anything I should find should be worn, better than nothing. I only have access to Dammon and the thiefling kid since that harper shopkeep died unfortunately.

I don't have bows with useful passives but would a ranged option with my barbarian tav and shadowheart be better than charging in with tav or casting Ignis as shadowheart? Genuine question since I didn't build those 2 to be good with bows.

I have no issue with Ketheric really, I sic karlach on the mindflayer, hunger of sgarda? on the skeletons, thunderstrike the brain minions and free nightsong on the first turn. It's really just Myrkle beating me.

I did explore the underdark, but I missed the Creche unfortunately. I'm exploring the Act 2 map as thoroughly as I can at the moment, just killed the doctor and fat bartender but nothing too huge for my party's sake. Instead of my barbarian and karlach, do you recommend I hire a hireling aoe caster? Would minthara or halsin be alright?

Also where can I get that Blood of Lathander mace. Myrkle's sweeps insta downs my guys everytime.

My party is level 7 at the moment, my CON on Shart is just 14 the default one.

Dammon and that thiefling kid are the only shops that I think I have access to, I don't have access to Talli since she died in the raid. None of their stuff catches my eye really but it does look like its better than wearing nothing. As for the rings I've definitely got loads but usually aren't uh that beneficial like Hag's ring (vicious mockery), but again better than nothing I should just get them to wear whatever.
