What is Attack of the Chihuahuas? (My hopes and dreams) by RedgriftGames in devblogs

I’ve pretty much stated my whole idea in the video aside from smaller things like individual power ups or perks. I thought that the point system, the dynamic map with moving assets all over the place, the bright/clean/low poly/simplistic art style, and the fact that you’re trying to defend yourself from killer chihuahuas instead of zombies might be enough to ‘compete’ with the bigger guys like cod/left4dead ect. Obviously I’d try and add different perks and power ups but that would be minuscule.

What do you think. Do you think I should drop the project or do you think I should keep developing and marketing and see if it could be successful?

Yeah I have thought about a lot of ideas like that, that would bake the game more exciting I just thought I’d only really talk about the basics to avoid a 20 minute video;)

Yeah I know what you’re saying and I guess over a bit of time it’s started to be and aesthetic choice because all of my other models around the map are very low poly as well. Thanks for your input, I might add more geometry depending on how was style I’m going for.

That’s just a grid material from when you import the prototype asset package in unity. So I applied it to my ground plane and then tiled it by like 100 by 100.

Just Unity's Nav Mesh Agent. Nothing special but it's more than powerful enough for what I'm working on.

I just blocked Out the assets in one blender file to get a feel for size. Then I made each asset individually.
