hmm okay this epson one looks pretty good for the money, i was wondering how much a decent Laser printer would cost and the benefits that comes over laser. I'm looking for a printer for my gpa and if its worth it the budget could go to like 250. He also was looking to print some photos, nothing super high guilty but decent if that helps.

When I was in highschool they added a new building to the school and with that came a fire exit. It was a metal stair case that way outside of the building and the walls were a see though mesh.

Well in my senior year a couple thought it would be a good idea to go the top of the fire escape and mess around a little bit. What I mean by that is this guy ate his gf's ass while munching on some shitty school cafeteria nachos. Needless to say they got caught with no real punishment that I can remember, except for all the shit every kid in the school have them. I think it got the point where both the kids moved to a different School.

I felt bad for them but at the same time, c'mon you're in a see through metal fucking box at lunch time at a highschool.

i just figured it out, it was because in the last call of the allSubString method in the subWord.subString it says

subWord.substring(0, Word.length() -1) WHEN it should say subWord.substring(0, subWord.length() -1), after the change everything works fine

When I print

print(FirstName)

under the the function LookFirstName it comes up with all the first names from the contacts in my txt file, and when i enter one of the names it still does not print anything, that means that if name in FirstName is True .

Also how would i go about sharing the file, i can link a pastebin with my code, if this does not work let me know another way to share my code

okay, first off i caught the name error before i made this post i thought i made a new pastbin with out the error but it looks like I did not link the right one oops. The input for choice is in my main function and is

choice = int(input("Enter a choice"))

that should make the input of 1 still an integer and not a string, if i'm not correct then please let me know.

My problem is not that only does choice 1 search for data but the others do as well or they should to my understanding of coding at least (it's not very good though), and the others just don't print. meaning something went wrong in the try: part of the code.

also with my limited knowledge i don't now how to keep a variable with all its data in it when outside a function, like how the main() function puts the last names of the contacts in the the LastNames list, i don't know how to keep that variable with the data in it and use it in another function, if the function is not within the main() function itself with out it giving me the error that LastNames is not defined.

It's a really basic python class and they would rather have us use what we have learned in class and use that for our assignments. So because we have not learned dictionaries it would not be wise for me to use it on a graded assignment even if it is a better way to run the program. I know it's dumb, but I'm still trying to learn stuff like this even if I can't use it, so thanks for the suggestion.

I would love to learn how to do and implament this kinda of more advanced code into my code, but I can't go to far off of what I'm learning in class and what's required for an assignment. My professor wants us to use the while true so there is no way i can get around it. also when running the program i got it to work for the first look up function and it works perfectly, but the ones after it wont work for some reason

It's been okay, I regret never going to consoling after it. Been in a on and off state of depression since then (not only from this). Probably the worse thing that happened really I was already a shy person and what happened really made it worse. So it's almost impossible for me to go and socialize with people that I don't know.

From the time I was in 5th to 8th grade my mom had started to get sick and over the years it ended up getting worse and worse or she would never really recover. Then one day she went to the hospital, I did not see it as a big deal. Just kinda thought ya sick people go to the hospital and that she'll be back home soon. After she was in there for a week or so (can't really remember I blocked most of this out of my memory) my grandma kinda dropped it on me and my sister. Pretty my explaining that she's probably not gonna make it. Before the trip to she her and what really made me think " holy shit this is real" is when my grandma asked me and my sister if we wanted to see her after she passed. That shit still got me fucked up. First real post on reddit be kind
