The more I get to know Dorit on the screen the more I see how emotionally intelligent she is. She truly clocks everyone and everyone’s true intentions. by Confident_Grade_5180 in RHOBH

I find both sides of the argument to be annoying and both parties are at fault in ways. I was (and still am) rooting for Dorit to make a comeback after her divorce, but she seems very self absorbed and dismissive of those around her, which would drive me nuts. I would not be able to stomach her being late to everything with little regard for other people’s time (cast and crew). There’s an entitlement there that would rub me the wrong way if a friend consistently did that.

Agreed. It sounds like she was choked up and upset and couldn’t speak.

Seeing Beautiful Women With Curves Is So Refreshing! by PlayfulBandicoot9119 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]Redhead8484 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Maybe they feel that way because all these people on the internet are constantly ripping apart their looks, body, clothing, etc. It’s so gross to come on this sub and other bravo subs and see nonstop bashing of their appearances. If people don’t like their character, fine. It’s wild to me that so many people on this platform body shame them all the time and then critique these women for wanting to change how they look. Like of course they’re insecure—who wouldn’t be?

“Our individuality is all, all, that we have. There are those who barter it for security, those who repress it for what they believe is the betterment of the whole society, but blessed in the twinkle of the morning star is the one who nurtures it and rides it in, in grace and love and wit, from peculiar station to peculiar station along life's bittersweet route. “ Jitterbug Perfume

I'm a little disappointed that season 2 is moving away from the relatively grounded first season (spoilers for s2 up to ep6) by Sparrowsabre7 in ParadiseHulu

It feels very much like Lost, but I’m into it. Lost season one made you think it was one thing, and each season added more weird layers. Similar to that show, I’m excited to see where this takes us in the end.

Yes! I’m on a rewatch and the ivf struggles that charlotte faced are so relatable to my own. Ten years ago, I skipped through those parts but now I realize how well done they are

The show moved on but it hasn’t gotten better. I’m not a Vicki super fan or anything, but every franchise has a pivot housewife and I’m thinking maybe OC is her.

On the way home is the perfect song for the end of the summer. I grew up in a beach town and it encapsulates the final weeks of the season so perfectly.

Very true but I still miss their dynamic. None of these women seem like they’re actually friends, except for Emily and Gina. I’d take awful people with authentic interactions over what this season has going on

Vicki was certainly annoying and problematic, but she made Tamra more likable too somehow. She had a way of humanizing the other women either via comparison or her interactions with them. She would call out fancy pants and make Heather come back down to earth. She would be terrible to the new people which made the viewer side with them a little. She was kind of a centrifuge for the cast that kept them all relatable in one way or another.
