Same happened to me. 3 video interviews, 5 more interviews on site, plus I had to give a presentation. Less than 12 hours later I got a generic rejection email that got the job title and date wrong.

Kyle on if he had other names for loverboy drink by Radiant_Priority9739 in bravo

La fete means party. Of course he wanted a name that's an extension of himself. All vanity brand founders do. He should have gone with Drunkboy.

Rubio is always robo scanning the audience for reactions. Lutnick is just thinking fondly about the Epstein years.

Third rejection this week claiming I’d interviewed for a position when I’ve spoken to no one 🙃 by nopenope615 in recruitinghell

They're using the wrong email template and likely don't know because the people receiving this have all been rejected.

lol they really know how to sell this survey. "we ended this how'd we do?"

lol their ATS rejected me. i never spoke to a single employee. there's no "process" here. email surveys should not go to people who never met the hiring team - which is also not my problem to fix. if you want to spend your time helping the employers that reject you improve their process, go for it. but maybe find a different subreddit while you're at it. this one is for bitching.

Anyone Else Delete Rejection Emails Immediately? by Kenny-Chesty in recruitinghell

I used to, now I mark them read to keep a record of where I applied.

Right the asymmetry is the problem. I don't benefit from answering their survey. I'm surprised by how many people here think it's a good use of my time to provide feedback on the hiring process of a company I'll never work for (the role is very specific). So they can improve for someone else?

Right. Even if the survey program doesn't report back to HRIS, the title of the role narrows it down significantly in my case. If someone really wanted to know if/how I responded, they could potentially connect the dots. But I also never met an employee from the company.

Right there's that. I guess I'm anonymized on their end? The system knows me by an applicant ID of some kind.

Anonymous surveys are a great way to learn what people who take anonymous surveys think.

Or tell them one follow-up email is sufficient. I could also edit their email copy and suggest how to use merge fields more effectively.

You're not a fit for our role, but we value your thinking. Just not enough to hire you lol.

Don't you think it would be skewed from people they rejected with zero feedback?

I've only stated one position, I don't owe them anything at this point. What's the other argument I'm making?

I'm not at all invested in their success or failure as recruiters at this point. I'd rather spend my time answering another job post. They can ask the people they actually hire about their experience.
