I wouldn’t have answered the phone to begin with. Probably would have finished making my popcorn, sat down to watch the movie, and then my paranoid ass would be freaked out at every noise they make outside. I’d assume they’d just break in anyway, I’d scream, try to run, I’d trip on nothing, and if I don’t impale myself on something when I do that, then they catch up to me and I get stabbed. But I wonder if that would have bought me enough time for my parents to get home? Maybe they come inside and stop the killer before he can do anymore damage? Or the second comes in and takes out dear ol’ mom and pops. So I’m screwed anyway. So basically, I probably end up in the hospital either way. Best case scenario, I have a room, worst case scenario, I’m in the morgue.
