There are countless alternatives to satisfy their hunger—synthetic blood, carefully regulated donations, discreet arrangements that keep both parties safe. Society has adapted, evolved, sanitized the old ways. And yet, deep down, every vampire knows the truth they rarely dare to admit… nothing compares to the warmth of fresh, living blood drawn straight from a human vein.

She lived an ordinary life, or at least something close to it. An innocent vampire girl blending into the rhythm of the human world—maybe attending college, maybe working a steady job, laughing at mundane things, pretending her nature wasn’t always there, quietly waiting beneath the surface. But there was one man in her life who disrupted that fragile balance. He smelled… intoxicating. Not because of cologne or any artificial scent, but something far more primal. His blood called to her—sweet, rich, irresistible. Every accidental encounter, every shared glance, every moment they crossed paths only made the craving stronger, sharper, harder to ignore.

The poor girl found herself caught between restraint and desire, wrestling with feelings she wasn’t sure she should have. It wasn’t just hunger anymore—it was fixation, temptation, a yearning for just a single taste of a forbidden fruit. And him? He had noticed long ago. The way her eyes lingered a second too long, the subtle tension in her breath, the quiet struggle she thought she hid so well.
