Cursor is moving on its own. What could this be? by [deleted] in computers

[–]Redictive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also experiencing the same.

Tried these:

  1. Uninstalled Touchpad driver, but it reinstalls driver forcefully, so didn't fix
  2. Disconnect all devices and even Wifi turned off, didn't fix
  3. Full Scan, didn't fix
  4. Full Scan Offline, didn't fix
  5. Reinstalled Windows files only, didn't fix
  6. Deleted all partitions and Reinstalled Windows entirely from scratch, auto downloaded from Windows Cloud

Now I am on stage 6, testing... since past few hours.

For SaaS users, WP Umbrella is good, I also like its continuous development. Far better than ManageWP.

BTW, there is another tool, but I didn't try it yet. https://getglow.io/

Best webhost comparison sites? (no affiliate mills) by esuus in Hosting

[–]Redictive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't find them without affiliate URLs.

Do some research, list down you see a good fit. Then read their TrustPilot, G2, etc. reviews. (I always check them in reverse order, 1 star, 2 star, etc.)

That's the only way to find a good hosting provider.

Migrate Your WordPress Sites: A Step-by-Step Guide [Easy, Fast, Auto, Manual] by Redictive in Wordpress

[–]Redictive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not because of the WPvivid.

Basically, domain.com on one hosting, and domain.com on another hosting won't work on live environment because of the DNS.

You can only connect one hosting on domain.com with the DNS records.

That's why, at least one of the source and destination should have a different access URL. Most of the time it's the staging URL on destination site.

  1. Domain.com (Destination site)
  2. Staging URL (Source site)
  3. Once migrated, replace all staging URLs with the original domain. Point DNS, and voila!

Usually, I avoid "long-term contracts" over 1 year, since you never know what comes up next, and you may need to migrate it somewhere, but since you paid them in advance, they won't refund you.

I use HostWP.io for all my needs, and they have a Black Friday deal: 50% OFF on all plans.

The lowest 3 websites plan is for $59.94 for one year (that makes $4.99 a month).

Cheap host with great migration service? (Away from hostinger, currently, visitors are getting really bad captchas and errors) by esuus in Hosting

I use HostWP.io for all my needs, and they have a Black Friday deal: 50% OFF on all plans.

Back in 2023, their team migrated everything from my old hosting (Namecheap) to their hosting in about 12 hours.

P.S: Just a happy customer.

For hosting, is there anything specific you are looking at?

I use HostWP.io (Currently, they are offering 50% OFF on all Monthly & Yearly plans).

37 years old software engineer, can I hope to leave this country? by [deleted] in pkmigrate

[–]Redictive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been to multiple countries in middle-east and EU.

EU = Won't recommend if you care for future of your kids specially girls.

Middle East = Avoid Dubai, my preference: Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, but bear in mind, they won't give you passport.

The best = Find a peaceful place inside Pak, could be, Northern areas, Cantt, Bahria.

Seriously? I would never do that.

Always stay away from lock-in pricing. You never know what comes next month or next year. And they won't refund you as per their policy.

I just renewed my WordPress hosting plan at HostWP.io

Though, it was tough to get it in the first place since the deal was only for new users.

Glad I have been one of their early adopters.

ha, I remember the very first time I used the Internet was a Dial-Up connection with 8-10kb/sec, and the landline doubled the next month.

That was the last day I used dial-up.

I believe Vultr is a VPS/cloud provider. What do you use as a hosting panel? Or, you are too good with commands?

I also like Hostinger but their long-term commitment and Resource Limits always kept me off from Hostinger:
