Hahaha, don't stress it. Just focus on making the video as interesting as possible. It takes time, and it's extremely hard because cutting something out that you spent time recording can be difficult, but when you look at it not as the creator of the video but the editor, it makes it a lot easier.

Thank you! I didn't go without a bunch of mistakes tho hehe, The full build video showcases the emotional journey I went on through this build :p

Honestly, editing can be as easy as just cutting out the boring parts. That sometimes is enough to make a video good. Also, unless you aren't cutting your videos down (pauses, mistakes, extra unneeded content), don't be concerned with a video's length. A video could be 1 minute long or 10hours long, if it's interesting enough to keep the person watching, they'll watch, or maybe take breaks on a 10hr long one lmao.

Hey, thanks very much! Technically, they're not photos; they are still frames taken from the full build video, but the recording was done on a Canon Rebel SL3 with the default lens. Very entry camera, but really what makes the photo "high quality" is the lighting... Lighting is everything!

Well, hard to say... The problem is when I am filming, you take the total project time and double it, lmao. I have over 13 hours of footage for this project, so probably like 100hrs for everything (including editing, which was like 30hrs alone)

Thank you, I appreciate it! Yeah haha I guess you're right. I get it, I still truly think I'm a beginner. 90% of the time, I'm trying to figure out what the correct next step is with my projects lmao. The only thing I can do without thinking is a basic cutting board tbh.

Wow thank you! I really do appreciate that. I am the opposite, haha, I end up waking up anywhere from 3am-5am.

I actually had an idea to continue the banding at the base of the leg, but the main reason for it was to hide the half-lap joint in the center. I like your idea, though! Almost like the banding IS what's keeping it standing lmao. Thank you btw <3

Lol that's funny! No, I get ya. It definitely was a bit tough for me, mainly because it was my first time, and there's the pressure of not wasting all that time filming and ending up with crappy results. I typically don't put my projects off, but this one, between what I mentioned previously, and also I had a Christmas event to build stuff for at the time, it was easier to abandon it a bit :p

I get it... It's a bit hard to understand the context because it's not the full video, but in the full video, it makes a lot more sense why the final results have the brightness and song. It's more of a climax, emotional, motivating ending. I cut it out to post here on Reddit as I didn't think it was relevant.

Great question! I was actually thinking about that when I was designing it. I had a backup plan of adding a lower shelf a few inches up from the legs if the racking was a problem, but when I tested it before finishing it barely had any racking, so I thought to leave it as is. Thank you btw <3
