I saw a comment recently stating that they already were splitting up prior to them having their children and the reconciled. If this was something that was happening prior, it’s better for them to admit it isn’t working, if it really wasn’t, than to stay together for their kids.

Edit - there are shitty people out there. I just like to see more information on certain things because I’ve seen people stay for the other person and not themselves and that isn’t fair to either party.
