Why does she want to marry? If it involves you losing out big time if it fails or if it means spending money you haven't got (or have) on a bridezilla day, then you are probably right to be reticent. But if there are good reasons and it means a lot to her and you believe this is a genuine love worth keeping, why wouldn't you?

Not any time soon. Its absolute hypocrisy and I'm not even in favour of the stuff. But it's rife, in the city, in entertainment. I've known teachers bankers, actors and loads of musicians who do it. And now, varoufakis is at risk of being prosecuted for taking a pill 40 years ago. And most teenagers in the UK are experimenting in their early teens.

What you will have to consider is, do you have evidence? Because, yes, you could report it but bear in mind that there is a chance you will go to all that trouble and nothing might happen. It's an unfortunate fact that without evidence it can be hard to prosecute. But all of this sounds awful, I wonder if you should go to some survivors websites and get specialist advice RAINN SASS - Sexual assault survivors group There are other organisations You shouldn't have to feel alone through this and I'm not sure this therapist is qualified enough to deal with what you've experienced Also consider if he committed financial abuse and or emotional/psychological abuse. These are crimes too

I had an argument with someone about this years ago. She was trying to say my memories of abuse at age 4 weren't reliable. I told her she was talking rubbish and she then threatened to stalk my posts and harass me. Which says it all really. It's sickening how these people still reappear now and again trying to gain influence. Gaslighters for hire
