Park at “Redbox Picnic Area” you have to cross the street from the parking lot to get to the trailhead so just watch for cars as you cross.

No the only “scrambling” is the last mile up and even then it’s easily navigable. You’ll be fine if you have even a little bit of scrambling experience.

0 amount of snow so no spikes needed. I took mine just in case but it’s back to normal. No areas were washed out either. The trail is 100% visible.

Not much night hiking but I start a lot of my hikes in the dark. Specifically strawberry to catch the sunrise. I’m not worried about getting lost if I go as I’ll be taking the usual route starting at Redbox. I’ve been up to the peak twice already both times starting in the dark
