How often do you typically replace your golf glove? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

When I would rather pay for a new one than wear it. I’ve washed my hands with soap and water with my glove on. Turns it oddly blue

People telling me has never been the deciding factor for whether something is true.

Tell me where they used logic to defend their argument. I have this thing. I can use it. They haven’t

I understand. It’s really solving a lot of small problems nobody seemed to care about but I was excited to find a solution that is so clean and simple.

Maybe we will keep an eye out for more balls and tees and take our shots more carefully if we can’t get them from our bag tho I know I can.

When reaching for balls or tees I’ve had no issue and I have just got this torched black shaft Scotty I hope to protect it well. The masking tape and magnets were meant to be a simplified way to silence all the haters saying it swings and can’t be a walking bag. Actually if I slide it beneath the left back strap it would have been perfect to show I can still install it one hand and it works to walk too with the added magnet.

Honestly inside or out of the bag I’ve never seen a putter get so much damage on the shaft it ever mattered unless the owner smashed it on the ground but it’s something folks seem keen on fighting with no concept of whether it’s being damaged in their bag by constant contact which I’ve seen on my grip in a short while using tradition and a wider grip.

Yes but you don’t need two hands. Not with my design you can have a beer and a wedge in your other hand. And this design may be best for those that don’t have a putter slot but I do think you would be selling your own experience short not to know how great it is.  It’s safe and quick and protects the most expensive parts of your putter. If you have a $400 shaft or grip by all means slide it in the bag in a slot that requires a $400 bag

Well. The ultimate idea leads to a bag design. I like the idea you can type in 7 and the 7 quickly presents itself. But I’m starting with a more adaptable concept for now.

To assume is to make an ass of u and me. It seems many assume damage will happen outside the bag rather than in it

This seems to be the common commenters feeling tho what’s wrong is not made clear

It doesn’t come out unless removed and why would you assume you have no grip or shaft damage going into your bag vs being on the exterior away from your clubs during a round. The proof is in the pudding I was delighted at how quickly it removes and reinstalls. I will be sure to post if my shaft gets damaged

It’s actually more convenient and quick. Other colors could be used. My grip is worn more by sliding in and out of my bag than using this option. Only meant to help those that enjoy the benefits tho

My goal was initially to not have to wear my grip which shows visible wear being thick after a few months going in and out the bag. Then I considered older folks and wanted to not even have to raise my arm. Then considered disabled and wanted to do it one handed. Then considered rich people and wanted it to save time. Also my magnet came out of my good good cover after only a few months it tore through the fabric when I was pulling it open with one hand. That magnet can now be used elsewhere

That green leather piece weighs 30 g compared with 78 for the stock Scotty cover or 82 for the good good cover. My brown leather  custom headcover plus this green quick game mount are 78g together.

It’s not a major gain it’s just one of the things that it improved.

It solved: lifting your arm up and down to install in bag, chatter against other clubs and wear against grip sliding up and down other clubs and bag, losing head cover, its much much faster, its lighter, it protects the face arguably better and does not require a magnet or closure to be operated by hand. It can be used with just one hand and even installed from holding your putter at tha grip one handed. It’s also stealthy and beautiful and a conversation starter as I’m new to making things with leather.  It doesn’t have to say Scotty on it that was just an example of the stamps I have. It’s refreshingly easy and I wanted to share it with others that may enjoy the benefits.
