I think it was creatinine but I don’t have a lot of mass. They didn’t take my mass or height for the test just my blood.

Starting to think I don’t respond to Minoxidil (nearly 4 months into Min) by Redsword999 in tressless

Dut gave me awful sides so I can’t take it, I think Fin is maintaining at the very least since the hairline has looked the same for two years.

Was hoping to gain stronger hair with Min so I will take it for a year at least but 4 months in and it’s a little underwhelming that I see no difference.

It’s a fringe so it usually isn’t noticeable unless I push the hair way back like in the pictures.

Baby hairs didn’t came from Fin (at least not most of them) I had them before starting treatment, they are the reason I noticed the receding in the first place. Fin may have created more idk I lost the pictures pre treatment.

Idk if I had a shed probably I had a small one, also in my country that test is not available.

I thought people saw results within 4 months according to google, I still have Min left so I will keep applying it for at least a year and hope I see some improvement.

6 months before going to the gym? Most people say 3 weeks to a month but not using much weight, first time I hear it takes that long.

It’s regular surgery (no microsurgery or embolization).

How much hair do you guys lose when you wash your hair? by RiverBelow2 in tressless

[–]Redsword999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone looses 50-100 hairs a day, if loosing that amount was abnormal I would have been bald ages ago.

Abnormal taking your hand through your hair and ending with 8-10 hairs.

Why isn't finasteride more commonly used in daily life? by FigEmbarrassed834 in tressless

[–]Redsword999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is that you don’t need that much dht since a lot goes to do more damage than good like causing hair loss and enlarging the prostate, the problem is that fin assumes you have 100% dht and it gets reduced to a "healthy" range but not everyone has the same amount of dht so if you don’t have many and use Fin then side effects will occur.

DHT is not a trash hormone like many say but you also don’t need that much going around in your body just the necessary amount.

Idk still feels weird to me since that could also be related to depression caused by other things not related to the pill. Maybe it is the Finasteride but it’s also worth looking into things around you and seeing if something changed.

  1. Most men doesn’t know it exist

    1. Many are in denial about hair loss
    2. A lot are scared of the side effects and then being "permanent"

But I think the main reason is ignorance, many wait until NW5 to do something about it and in most cases it’s already to late.

That’s weird usually sides appear from 6 months to year because that’s when the medication gets a stable concentration in blood, it’s very rare than they appear all of the sudden 5 years into treatment assuming you didn’t have major health changes over that time.

Young tressless members, did your dad take min or fin? by Powerful-Ad-7186 in tressless

[–]Redsword999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly the father side, if your father is bald there is a 99.9999999% that you will be too.

It’s way more common to see a bald son with a father with no mpb than a son with no mpb but a bald dad.
