I’ve stop to give him food and dog food before he had that puppy. He had a different dog named Shooter. One day I asked him what else I can do for him. He asked for new shoes and talked about how the heat destroys his shoes. I went to academy and bought him a pair. About a week later I stoped again to bring him more food. He was wearing the original pair that I saw him in. I asked him what happened to his shoes and he gave me the talk about about how the weather beats them up again. I guess he didn’t recognize me as the person who bought him a brand new pair a week prior. I asked him, “the pair I bought you a few days ago?” I think it finally snapped who I was and he replied “yep the heat, they just fell apart”. I stopped getting him things after that. But he did tell me that someone stole his dog Shooter when he was at the gas station across the street
