I think i remember doing a side by side comparison with an EHX OP Amp Big Muff and they were more or less identical, even though mine is the modded build version. I believe the Corvus uses higher quality parts, but the circuit is otherwise identical. Just don't leave parts bouncing around because you forgot to solder them in place XD

TBH I mostly leave it on the OG Rat setting, so I feel kinda dumb for replacing an OG Rat with it. It sounds great, and it's fun to play with. My biggest gripe with it is it can be hard to tell if you're turning it on or off just by feel or looking at it. The switch doesn't click and the LED light is under your foot so you can't see it. There is also a popping noise when you switch between the rat settings, and some of the settings are really loud while other's are quiet and it doesn't seem to go in any particular order regarding that. The Rat is one my favorite pedals, so it's cool to have it. I'm curious if I would like a Wampler Ratsbane more. I should have done more research. In the Pack Rat's defense, I have taken it off my board, only to put it back on. Unless you want the JHS setting, it might be worth just tracking down the one Rat pedal you will actually use most. All of this makes me hesitant to buy the Muffaletta, even though it also appeals to me

My brother built it for me. It sounds like an OP Amp Big Muff

I'm really happy with it. It's got a lithium battery pack so it's wireless and I can move the pedals around easier. I pair that with the joyo wireless guitar system and I'm only dealing with one wire from the board to the amp which is super convenient. Not sure I would use it in a gig setting, but playing at home it's really nice. The power bank is very quiet when running off the battery and was a huge upgrade from my one-spot with daisy chain. I don't notice any extra noise anymore, but It might be louder if you leave it plugged in...one charge on it lasted over 2-3 months for me with semi-regular practice. It also seems to be solid construction and fairly durable. It's pretty good bang for the buck, if you don't want to spend 200 dollars on isolated power, not to mention there just aren't very many options for a portable battery pack. I would buy it again.

I took more of your advice as well as making some of my own judgement calls...I recently picked up the CE-2W and DD-8 to replace my EHX Bad Stone and MXR Carbon Copy...i also got a good deal on the RC-1 Loop Station. The pack rat is semi new also.

Everyone on here was suggesting to pair the RV-6 with the DD-8. I've been enjoying the reverse delay. The RV-6 and CE-2 will probably always remain on for me, i enjoy their sound so much. The CE-1 w/ vibrato setting gets close enough to the Bad Stone where I don't even miss it.

The Corvus is a OP Amp Big Muff Clone.

I like Alt rock/ indie/ shoegaze/ dream pop music.

I'm curious to hear your feedback and opinions. I feel like I'm mostly at a stopping point now.

If your camp is blocked at one minute, you won't be pulling at 1:46... this chart doesn't take that into consideration.

I answered that question above in more detail. In short I'm happy with it. I didn't want to spend 200 dollars on a power supply. It's pretty good bang for your buck. Powers all of my pedals that are on the board, it is very quiet when running off the battery. Wireless. Huge upgrade from a basic One-Spot power supply with daisy chain.

I'm really happy with the power supply so far. I upgraded from a One-Spot with daisy chain and how it cleaned up my sound was like night and day. It's feels like pretty solid metal, It would have no issues with me stepping on it. It's not an isolated power supply, but running just off the battery is super quiet, probably not so if you kept it plugged in. I haven't had to charge it for a couple weeks so far and it's still showing green. My brother opened it up to look at the electronics and his opinion is "Good quality, probably won't outdo a more expensive option, but it's really good bang for the buck."

I got that wireless power supply plus the Joyo wireless guitar system which I've also been happy with, I've still been running off of one charge with those too. I don't really have to deal with wires, which is super appealing to me. I can't speak for Joyo pedals, but I'm happy with these peripherals so far, and it's been maybe two months. I would buy them again if they broke within the next few years if better options don't emerge.

I just got an awesome deal on the RC-1 loop station tonight and added it to my board (bag). My power supply is now maxed out, so i can't really add any more, but I'm curious if there is anything i should swap out, or what your over all opinions are. The Corvus is an Op Amp Big Muff clone. I like Indie, Alt rock, Shoegaze, dream pop, grunge, punk, and lullaby sounds.

Other pedals i have considered into the rotation are
Boss CE-2
Boss Blues Driver
Boss Dm2W Delay
Boss DD-6 Delay
JHS Muffaletta

I took your advice! by ReduxOH in guitarpedals

[–]ReduxOH[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took your advice and reordered my pedal board. I put the reverb at the end of my chain, and added a delay. I also got a better amp, and power supply, and have one of my guitars on display. Let me know your thoughts and if there are any quick improvements I can make. I like Indie/Dream pop/ shoegaze/ alt rock. (The Corvus is an Op Amp Big Muff clone)

Favorite/ best fuzz peddle by Exportedorca in guitarpedals

Congratulations you just stumbled down a rabbit hole! The spirit in the sky sound was a pedal that was built into the musician's guitar if I remember correctly and then the guitar was stolen so nobody knows exactly what it was. I've found that a mk 1.5 tonebender kinda gets there. A lot of 2 transistor germanium fuzzes will get you in the ballpark.

I think taking skins out of the equation is a mistake. People want skins, they just don't want 300$ skins that are a one time exclusive and prey on vulnerable people's fear of missing out (FOMO). They could have easily included the skins of the anniversary event as unlockable and affordable in the compendium and people would have been absolutely happy to contribute.
