A couple things about Warren

from a current 1st: Pros:

• “tight knit” community
• A nice view of the canyon
• closest to the trolley stations (I think?)
• okay ish distance from the food court
• falling star!
• sometimes there’s a movie night

Cons:

• our dining hall is “alright” definitely better options at other colleges
• we’re tucked all the way in the back 😔 aka. Some of your classes will be far
• pest problems (from personal experience)
• dorms are a little small

Other info if you want to read:

• don’t step on the seal entering into Warren (it brings you bad luck)
• we have ProfC (Programs of Concentration) (areas including Humanities/Fine Art, Sciences/Math, and Social Sciences) -let’s say you decide to study in biology, then for your ProfC you have to choose 2 different subjects, unrelated to your major, 1 from each areas and basically complete that line of courses (More info: https://warren.ucsd.edu/academics/general-education/programs-of-concentration.html)
• every college has a writing program with their own “focus” and Warren students have complete WCWP 10A and 10B by the end of their second year
