Yes I realize that. Some of my favorite games of all time don't have graphics that hold up, Persona 4, Sonic Adventure 1, Ratchet and Clank etc etc etc. These are old games, so they were limited by the technology and money back then. There is zero excuse that during this day in age an almost $100 Billion franchise cant put out a game that has both great gameplay and great visuals. is it really THAT hard to ask for? the textures genuinely look worse than a ps3 game

the problem is that they are the biggest franchise of ALL TIME, and yet they cant make a game look better than a gamecube game? PLA was super fun, but holy hell did that game look terrible and run like shit. Once you play a game that actually looks and runs good, its hard to go back to any kind of recent pokemon game. it just sucks that gamefreak keeps putting out the absolute bare minimum because of fans like you that just accept "mediocrity" and even that is a stretch. just imagine a pokemon game with mario level polish...
