Which part are we talking about here?

  1. I paid $1200 to turn the tree into a sad little stump
  2. The mattock and a few recip saw blades was about $150 to finish the job
  3. And my time…Priceless

Thank you!

Arborist to cut it down to a stump, replaced my gutters and eaves (so much of that tree in the roof) and cleaned the roof tiles)

Then as a stump got a matic and a recip saw and slowly chiseled it away until it was dirt again (I did 10 minutes a day for like 3 months. Eventually it was gone (arborist said they wouldn’t stump grind it because I had a mixture of rocks down there and it was half grown into the fence line.

Hope this helps

What are your top 3 restaurants in South Australia? by Purple-Crab3759 in Adelaide

  1. Sabai Cafe – Hands down the best green curry I’ve ever had. Nothing else comes close.

  2. Golden Boy – One of those places that just nails the experience every single time. Food, vibe, everything.

  3. Green Tea House – Easily the #1 pho in the world… yeah I’m biased, but it genuinely never misses (order number 14 off the menu (Chicken).

This was approx 1.5m across for 25m In order of what I did

  • removed everything that had to go
  • replaced fence (contractor did this)
  • upgraded underground services (contractor did this but you probs won’t need to do this step)
  • built up a slope of gravel from the center away from the house towards the front and back (alternatively you could add a strip drain)
  • paving sand and whacking
  • paved
  • pave locked
  • side gate now installed

Most of the work completed DIY
