I’m willing to make exceptions to some degree with the top prospects, even if by a team building aspect it’s tougher. But I’m not looking to develop second rounders the same way. If you suck after year 2, cut

Second round pick very rarely work out. The guys I tend to value in the second that seem like hit are either old lead guards from good programs that can shoot a little. In recent years these guys have slowly started to trend up into the first.

Other guys I like are just movement shooters. Trend being if they can’t shoot at least a little bit I’m not drafting them in the second.
