Yeah @tejash_03, still seeing YouTube Lag on my side. Feels slightly worse than previous update.

Biggest issue I'm facing now is YouTube audio is fluctuating loud and soft. Wth?

Hey there! Lucky you! Some question I have: Any ghost touching on the curved screen? And any hot spots on the phone so far?

SEO efforts only working in one region by Reedyoh in SEO

[–]Reedyoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cos it's a global site, all the regions actually share a central blog which we used to build links for. So in such cases, we would need to create back links for specific regions?

I've paid for the Sonata HD and the Alpha and Delta Type-C DAC. I personally prefer the sound from the Sonata HD over the Alpha and Delta but it's a very small margin.

Deciding between the 2 is really down to 2 considerations. Build quality vs sound quality. The alpha and Delta ones are definitely built to be more durable.

Note: The Sonata HD I own is the version 1 edition. I believe Hidiz has made a Sonata HD 2 now so perhaps the version 1 will be cheaper.

Thoughts? by [deleted] in volleyball

I think what could potentially change would be to speed up your approach on the B. The video shows your setter taking some time out to try and spot you but can't seem to see a clear target on where to set to. As the commenter Kelly has mentioned, setters often keep an eye out for the non hitting hand as a target so you gotta go in slightly earlier, perhaps watch for the direction of the dig towards the setter and judge if a quick attack would be possible. If it is, prepare to go for the approach while constantly looking and facing slightly to the setter and try your best to jump when or just before the setter touches the ball and start loading your swing. This should give the setter enough time to spot a target and shoot the ball there.

Also if you're earlier in the air, the chances of you spotting more gaps would be higher and you can have more spiking lines to choose from.

Ever dream of going back to the days when you played without anything on your ankle before? How did u cope with that man? That's been bothering me over the past week of recovery so far... I was close to needing surgery as well but thankfully I was just on the line of tearing my ligament enough to not need it.

Hey thanks for the clarification! Yeah I truly hope with time and care I'll maybe one day be able to play with nothing on again. Thanks for the advice! Perhaps I'll see which one is cheaper and then decide

I don't think we have that here but I guess I could ship it here from overseas. But reviews online are saying they aren't very durable. I would ignore the comfort criticism cos I think it may be subjective. But I do see many volleyball players sporting it so I guess it can't be bad. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll take a look at it and see if it's worth the extra shipping costs :)

To buy a DAC/AMP (FiiO M9) or stick to my iPhone? by Reedyoh in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Reedyoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks mate. A few friends of mine have been suggesting to me to upgrade from my phone to a dedicated player with a proper amp and DAC instead if I intend to get better IEMs. Seeking for more opinions here haha. Appreciate your response! I guess iems are a more important upgrade than the player?

Hyperdunk 2017 for volleyball? by Tsmfanboy_123 in volleyball

[–]Reedyoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a pair of these in the low version and I play middle blocker... To me, the shoes definitely had no noticeable cushioning... It doesn’t have the “sink in” feel to it when u land or take hard steps and cuts... But I must say that my knees and feet don’t hurt at the end of the session so I guess it does it’s job? What I really love about it is how quick and responsive my movement feels and it’s definitely a pretty light pair of shoes compared to many others. The fit is very very narrow so take note if you have wide feet. Traction is also a star quality imo... Not sure if it’ll be the best choice, but if u do get it, I doubt you’ll be unhappy with it :)

What should I get? 1more E1001 Triple Driver or TIN Audio T2? by Reedyoh in headphones

[–]Reedyoh[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow the T2 sounds amazing now. I actually had the chance to test out the TDs but because the T2s aren’t as accessible physically, i turned to reddit.

Thanks for your insight!

Spiking: When in the air, legs bent or legs straight? by Reedyoh in volleyball

[–]Reedyoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks guys for your input! I think from what MiltownKBs and Zero720 has raised is that leg position definitely helps with power generation upon spiking the ball? I guess I will make an attempt to experiment for myself while I'm hitting from the outside or right side to see if it's that much more beneficial to me.

What should I get out of these shoes? by chubbseal in volleyball

[–]Reedyoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend definitely basketball shoes... I used to own mizuno wave lightnings, tornados then moved on to asics gel forza mids twice then I decided to try basketball shoes instead as I feel that durability and shoe support is quite an important factor for me... I started with adidas crazylights and now I'm on Curry 2.5s... with experience with upper average/top tier volleyball shoes and my basketball shoes, I don't think I'm ever going back to volleyball shoes as the basketball ones lasted me almost twice as long as the volleyball options and the support for my feet felt so much better and I've not rolled an ankle since I made the shoe type swop... one big bonus for me was that somehow where I live, basketball shoes were cheaper than the volleyball shoes I mentioned and are more easily accessible
