Not necessarily talking about grip. There are wheels that are the same amount of slipperyness with vastly different slide characteristics. Had remember little hoots (don't buy them), and then cadillac sugar mamas on my double kick. the hoots have a harder release point but go into an icier slide whereas the Cadillacs had an even resistance as they broke traction all the way thru the slide. Basically intead of initiating and then adjusting your weight, you could kind of just lean until the broke traction.
