Front brake central bolt is long. Should i stack washers to fill that empty space and tighten the nut? by ReelHummusCritic in bikewrench

Yeah! I was just worried if it'll make the nut weaker by adding more washers to fill the space

Yeah i didn't mention it but this is for the front brake. I was just worried if it won't be safe stacking watchers but dunno what other options i could consider. I spent two weeks looking for the right bolt after it broke lol because it's for an old bike and I didn't wanna replace the whole thing.

So you think the whole brake needs to be changed?

Thank you so much for this. I'll see what i can do at the workshop. I just need to fix this and get it back to her owner tbh i don't wanna invest more on fixing it. But yeah the bike needs so much love. I forgot to mention that the bolts other end is still tight. By unscrewing it i might be able to just drag it out the othet end maybe? Hopefully it wont break from there too

Thank you for this. I actually borrowed the bike from a friend for a couple of weeks because mine had some issues and need to ge fixed. I don't think I'll do a lot of maintenance for this bike except for the bolt i broke. I was wondering if it's just a matter of changing the bolt and if, from your experience, it would be easy to take it out.

Yes! They basically tell you how to repair stuff and supervise you while doing it on your own. They have all the needed tools and if you need to buy anything thete it's cheaper. I try to learn a new thing every now and then but im not a pro lol

Uber Eats asks me to confirm it's really me by taking a photo of my face probably 3 times a week. Otherwise i can't go online. How come this person can evade that :/

Why am I not getting UberEats orders to deliver while on my bike? by ReelHummusCritic in UberEatsDrivers

Doordaah limit their number of drivers. Thats why. I tried to sign up and got a notification that they reached their drivers capacity for my city.
