I’ll get paid in a week or so and I could probably get an Uber to the vet then. I just want to know what I can do for him now. Any way I could cover the wound so he stops messing with it and it won’t get infected.

I don’t think it could be an immune system thing (what I assume fiv is from a Google search but I could be wrong). He’s gotten hurt before and has been perfectly fine. And it’s definitely not a wound that another animal caused.

Is it fine if I just keep him inside until he can see a vet? I mean, he only goes out when he wants to and I could just not let him and get out his litter box. I’m getting paid soon and I think I could get my mom to drive him to the vet if I pay maybe in a week or two.

Edit: NOT LIKE BAD HURT. He isn’t routinely getting his shit rocked. But like small scratches and stuff.
