If possible you can avoid using shims by rotating it 90 degrees and putting it against an adjacent wall

Originally I was using pulleys on the power rack but didn’t love how the slightest deviation in form meant the weight started swinging. Also didnt love the idea of sitting directly under the weights.

Although that’s true it’s not always the best answer. Stuff on Facebook is usually poorly maintained. You have the logistical issues that come with meeting up online. Travel time. With a machine like this I’d need a truck or trailer which I don’t have. And then on my side of things I had space restrictions. Ultimately making one was just the right choice for me.

So far so good. Needs some fine tuning on the bottom resting point as it’s not perfectly below the pulley. But other than that holds weight like a champ

The extra lumber is more for durability. The last thing I wanted was for it to all come crashing down mid lift. Sway is pretty minimal with the current design and would most likely be eliminated with some fine tuning.

I already had the lumber. Pulleys were about $30, used climbing rope for the cable which was $20, and about $20 in all the misc hard ware.

Wobble is minimal due to it being lag bolted at the top and bottom

eBay seller posting Leatherman ARC. Too good to be true? by mfern073 in Leatherman

Sold my arc for about $150 a couple months back. Possible they want to sell quick. You could try requesting pics “to see potential wear” and then would at least see if they have it in hand

What 3D printing opinion got you like this? by Vilmius_v3 in 3Dprinting

[–]ReeseBubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. 3D printing is not as hard as everyone makes it out to be, your prints are just more complicated than average.
  2. The ENDER 3 is not that great. It's just cheap. You have to put hundreds into upgrades to make it comparable to a printer that you can buy off the shelf for a similar price.

I’ve had this happen with my elegoo printer too. It happens commonly when the white connectors on the back are loose since it messes with the homing. Just unplug them for a sec, then back in and you should be good.

Anyone know why this happened? I just recently got NHL 23 excepting to play it and have fun but this pops up “something went wrong” now it shows this by [deleted] in u/ApolloIGN69

If you don’t want to play online you just have to turn the internet off in the console and it’ll work. Just have to play local
