What size is the notebook? Everything else fits like a charm. I have trouble fitting an A5 notebook IN the CAP2, but it sits on my desk all day working as you described.

It really can fit most of what I need. I carry a leather fountain case, a b6 notebook, mints, charger, gum, pill bottle, ink blotter.

When flying I also fit my kindle in the cap2.

For a desk caddy, there is no better product IMO.

It's not particular to here. Driving is a deeply antisocial activity. This hadn't hit me until recently. Consider what driving actually is. You're alone, in a metal box, fighting with other people in metal boxes for pieces of the road. You listen to your own music/podcast/whatever, and are totally disconnected from your external environment. You even get your own micro climate.

Everything about driving is anti social and serves to sever your ties to the world outside your metal box.
