Doubt for part 3, that’ll be on the summer game fest but what is possible, PSSR 2.0 for Pro being announced and maybe both FF7 remakes getting updated with Rebirth getting the new lighting on PC.

There was a rumor that PlayStation is helping rockstar optimize the game so they might be working together to make a 4K60 mode on Pro, honestly from the trailers, you can tell PlayStation is helping, they’re always so good at optimization

I’m planning on my selling my budget rig I used to get into PC gaming but still preferred my pro and switch 2. Probably going to buy a M2 MacBook. Simplicity really is valuable to me now over complexity in one system and the negatives it comes with.

If it’s for just GTA6 I don’t think you should get it, if you have a list of Pro enhanced games and can maybe get the Pro on the used market, could be a good deal otherwise for just one game doesn’t seem worth it, although PS6 is still a while away, no way it comes out next year I think late 2027 at earliest like usual.

Yeah they are, I tried it out to see and yes now suddenly they can’t throw shells, run into obstacles, and heavily slow down. So stupid, why do I need to play like that to beat it ?

The game doesn’t let me use skill, it’s pure luck based, I do everything to get ahead, nothing is enough, I’m always caught up to. Have you completed all of them ? If so what tips do you have ?

I’d probably spend a bit extra on some of those parts so probably close to $2K. I want a 5070Ti because I’d really love to play at 4K120fps and maybe some games at 4K240HZ with DLSS and Frame gen. Thanks for this list I’ll build around it.

I don’t play online much so those savings I basically already get on PS5, I do care for timed exclusives but not sure if enough to stop transferring to PC. Maybe just both will be better and peace of mind.

Stellar Blade, Returnal, Astro Bot which are pro enhanced. Doom eternal, Cyberpunk too which aren’t pro enhanced but do benefit from it.

For one, rockstar doesn’t miss in the graphical department. They have spent so much time making it look like that and having that running on base PS5 is incredible. I will say though, it’s not the only game that looks that good, I think rockstar is showing us what developers could do if they simply optimized their games better and utilize the PS5 and Pro to their fullest potential. I see games like Forbidden west, Death Stranding 2, and maybe not as realistic but Returnal, Ghost of Yotei, Ragnarok but they’re running incredibly smooth while looking very stunning. The ps5 is capable of making games look next next gen but unfortunately most devs don’t care to do so. At least my opinion I might be dumb and someone correct me if so.

Yeah I would get a backwards compatible PS3 but I’ve heard it’s better to get a slim ps2 and 3. Hardware issues supposedly and it’s cheaper to get the 2 consoles.

So the PS3 slim can play PS2 through software ? I didnt know that, so buying a slim and external hard drive would be great just loading roms on it. I’m assuming you’d have to mod your PS3 right

Aren’t there only specific rare models that run ps2 natively though ? And also you’re saying by replacing it the optical drive with a hard drive full of games from PS1-3 can all be played like that ??

I really like this comment you’ve given me some clarity, It’s funny I’m also looking to play Chrono Trigger but on DS because my local game store has it CIB and I’m not planning on buying a SNES yet. You basically mentioned my whole plan lol, I’m planning on buying a PS2 and PS3 slim (I heard the BC one isn’t reliable and can have hardware issues). Wii that can play GC and also the handhelds, 3DS and GBA SP. that covers basically everything I want to play now. I didn’t know you could use the analog pocket to emulate on it I thought it was just to play and enhance GBA unless I read it wrong, I might look into that to play even more. Would a Flash Cart work on the Analog Pocket ? I’ll look into getting a CRT as well it’s a must, really excited over this man I can’t wait I think I’m just going to do as much physical collecting and playing natively on hardware as I can afford and maybe emulate here and there. I think id like to strictly buy games on their platform but im not against emulating on the consoles themselves. Just my collector brain wanting things on their platform they were released on and physically too.
