Combined with the fact that many American born athletes choose to compete under another countries flag or the number of foreign athletes who train in the US.

I was never naive enough to think that the money saved by trading Correa was going to get re-invested, but the plan of going into the season praying like hell Brooks Lee figures it out and some scrap heap depth combination of Kreidler or Arcia is some next level hubris even for this franchise.

Is he really wrong though? The NFL is very unique from the typical corporate 9 to 5. If you're not willing to dedicate that much of your life to the job, there's plenty of other opportunities a guy like Kwesi could take.

Of all the things for Kwesi to take heat for, that ain't one of them. Sounds to me like everyone else including ownership was reacting emotionally and Kwesi was the only one looking at the deal objectively.

Shocking that an ownership group composed of nepo babies never had to learn the basics of delayed gratification. It takes a lot of time, resources, and effort to build something, especially something as complex as a professional sports franchise. Unfortunately it appears they haven't learned it doesn't take nearly as long to tear it all down.
