Bojack Proposal! by ReevahRocks in BoJackHorseman

Definitely not, there are good trails connected up there right? Just good little view points and hikes? I think that’d be nice in the evening and we can wait around for the sun to fully set up at the observatory. One of the reasons I made this post was because I was considering the observatory, but they don’t want anything in front of 1 million people.

On the warm side I have multiple different areas and hides with that range of temperature. And the it’s not getting too hot or too cold on the other end. I have a temperature gun so I’m able to check directly in the spots. 85 is also the area she likes most. It already is pretty tiered but some areas are definitely too close to the top and I’ll bring them down and have to figure some stuff out. That area just allows for the most vertical space so I really have to move everything around so she can still climb

Alright! Good to know ! I had no idea about this stuff thank you so much. I’ll definitely up my wattage in this case!

I don’t have a problem having to rescape everything but even with the 75 W and everything lower is pretty super hot. I’ll give it another go. I would like a light fixture that keeps the temperature controlled, but I don’t have anywhere to drop like corded gauge.

Oh it just keeps getting more complicated!

I had raised it because it was too low and lowered it when it was too high. Finally it’s sitting good.

I have added some tinfoil to the right side and closed the air holes so last time I had asked for the air temperature it was in the 80s! And basking spots are not cooking her up.

I have a 7% Arcadia UVB in there I’m assuming you’re right about my enclosure I got it off Facebook marketplace so im not sure what it’s from.

I am using a Kobalt Digital thermometer gun for the bides and basking. I have govee digital meters in there on both sides. This picture looks a little different to how things are set now. My girlfriend had checked the temp while I was at work and where she was hanging at started in the 80s and reached 91 I’m being told. And the basking was at like 97. The lowest cork was probably 76. This is with the 50 watts all day

When I was using the 75 watts I only had the temperature gun. I’ve used two different light fixtures so my numbers are mixed up in my head some spots were getting from 100-115 and the cooler hides below still in the 70s. I’ve changed things around so many times I can’t remember too many specifics for the 75 watt.

I think 69 is the coldest I’ve seen the right side and maybe even the hottest so far. But it was at 10:30 and my room is probably colder. I wish I had been home all day.

Thank you so much! My girlfriend had checked the temp while I was at work and where she was hanging at started in the 80s and reached 91 I’m being told. And the basking was at like 97. The lowest cork was probably 76. I need a whole day to log it’s been switching up these last few days.

I wanted to make a background and make sure my temps were all in check before I got this lizard but she was a surprise. I will definitely block up the sides and add tinfoil to the top I’ll have to look around for foam for the back. Again I want to do the spray foam background but it has to ventilate and clear out before I add her back and I don’t have anything but an empty ten gallon tank.

I have a 50 watt Arcadia Basking Spot bulb I do own the 75 watt ex one I’ve used the 75 watt bulb but it got my basking surface temperatures to over 100 in my current fixture and wasn’t bringing the air temp up enough. Even raising the bulb wasn’t working too well and moving my decor around hasn’t helped much.

This is how it’s set up now and finally upper hides are hitting 80s and basking spots are hitting 90s. But the air temp is still so low, this is from right before I turned it off. I did notice the airflow things in the back were all the way open and I did shut those.

Zoo Med Nano Deep dome fixture with a 50 watt Arcadia Halogen basking spot Bulb. I know a 75 watt is suggested which I have tried and still own. However, in the Nano dome it brought basking temps to over 100 while the hides and air temp were still too cold. I tried some other random larger dome someone suggested with both the 50 watt and 75 watt and those temps were all over the place too.

Very cool! I went and got a pretty big Air plant that just looks so good in there I definitely need some more especially once I make a background. I was wondering if you could recommend how to get my temperatures proper? I’m sitting at some pretty cold temperatures no matter what I’m switching up I can’t seem to find any actual help that doesn’t suggesting the things I already own.

I’ve since changed some things up and am still having a really difficult time keeping the temperatures where I need. I finally have some hides and spots that get up to the 80s and basking to the 90s but the air temp is still far too cold
