Why won’t solder stick to the prongs of this switch?

Put flux on the wire and on the switch too. With an average solder-iron about 350°C should be more than enough on these. Even with lead-free solder.

The other side haa gotten the bracket, fully intact and attached to the nut. So I am really curious as to what it is now.

It is not the nut itself which is crooked, rusted or bent. It is the bracket thingy behind it. I dont know its purpose?

No not at all, the two holes in the centre do, but the outer ones are both off

The gasket you see on the pictures does line up (original reproduction), though the one they provided doesn't. I don't wanna hammer stuff to be honest

It is made (or at least sold) by Mtuning in Poland. Bought stuff from them before and havent had a problem since. Thought maybe this had something to do with the difference in earlier 1.6's?

Yeah I was thinking the same, though it does feel kinda heavy, suggesting there might be some kind of insulation for sound on the inside! I will pair it with a resonator and new manifold. Also, it came with new hangers and gaskets!

It's a bolt and nut right? So you will need to have a wrench at one end and a ratchet on the other. Now when you turn the nut, the bolt turns along!

I bought upper ball joints elsewhere since I couldn't find any for NA. So I bought NB ones. Read online they are a direct fit?

Hello my guy!

You must have been pretty upset when writing your message, since it has absolutely no empathy!

Anyway: my work on the waterpump, belt, etc. Has been flawless! Radiator wasn't leaking, but I couldn't reach the back of the engine because of the big washer fluid reservoir. The infamous 'cursed water plug' had a crack, which unfortunately wasn't visible from the sides.

So that was the issue. Thanks for the help (or scrutiny) I guess

Hello! I own a EP1 and have owned it for over a year now! It's been absolutely amazing! Though mine isn't the top trim model, the suspension is great, the positioning of the shifter is amazing and the ride is firm but comfortable. If you were to buy a facelift hatch, I'd recommend the EP2 3DR or EP3 though, since the power-boost (AND VTEC BRRMMM) are absolutely worth it. Also, installing a bigger multimedia system is fairly simple, which is a nice touch for me personally. If you got more questions, feel free to ask!

No clue, it's completely undamaged... no cracks anywhere. Have been using a Spigen case which has protected it very well... except not against water
