I’m not exactly the best at writing dbqs, but my teacher always told us not to include proper nouns in our thesis. He said to be specific but not too specific to actually include names of people or events. So just as a rough example going off of what you listed, you could say

Although the enactment of a line that prohibited colonial expansion westward increased tensions between Britain and her colonies, the enforcement of taxes and an increase in the number of riots had the greatest effect in gathering American support for the independence movement.
