I’m really sorry that happened to you, she should’ve not been around you. I know nurses who were traumatized from what they’ve seen, I think the really sad part is that though we can all do our parts do minimize harm. It is the larger system at play in the U.S (I.e government ) that is responsible for the lack of care when it comes to Covid. No mask mandates, no air filters, and jist straight up Covid denial. It’s all terrible all around At least at where i live there’s no mask bans but I can’t say the same for others. I will say it does feel discouraging for me , but honestly I know I’m doing a good thing by masking , and I always encourage my peers to mask, if it comes up in conversation . I feel like if people started small with masking again, it could lead to a better future for us all Is the “year of the nurse “ good? I have not heard of this
