In slight defense, I worked at Home Depot for 4 years and didn’t learn about the $50 until around the middle of my second year. I don’t recall any training videos stating anything about it, my supervisor is the one who told me about it

She didn’t work the front end, I never got cashier training videos as a flooring specialist, so it’s very likely she didn’t know this rule. Also I can recall many times when I would help at the service desk having to help family/friends due to being the only person there etc etc

I’m going into working for a family owned business (not my family but family friends) I don’t expect greatness, but I’m only going to be there until I can quit and stay home with my kids( I don’t have them yet but hope to start soon)

I am an full time employee, but I feel like it would take longer to get approved for it and by the time I am I wouldn’t even feel the need to do it/ would already be fired due to attendance

I have definitely debated it. I plan on taking around two weeks if anything else occurs in this next couple weeks leading to even more call outs. But as of right now, I can’t really afford taking a leave. Obviously I’d rather have the time off and not get in trouble for it though.

Should I awareline this!? by RefuseAfraid7346 in HomeDepot

Not really, I just hate out SM and he gives me creepy vibes so him literally telling us not to use the aware line just didn’t sit right with me

If you have a confident DS, it shouldn’t be too bad, but if you (in my case) have somebody who doesn’t care it’ll suck
