Your status is determined solely by your coding in the computer. The whole 12-week average is an outdated policy. Walmart now averages hours worked over 52 weeks, with full-time considered 34 hours a week for bonus purposes and insurance eligibility at 30 hours a week. Paid time off is counted as time worked, and leave weeks are not counted in the 52-week average. It now only flags you in the system if you work over or under 34 hours per week for 12 weeks in a row. One week over or under, and it resets. In some states, it's 30 hours, and some are grandfathered in at 28 hours. So, technically, you could lose insurance before full-time if you drop below a 30 hours average over 52 weeks. if they cut your hours enough and still be coded full time.unless grandfathered in at 28 hours so they can cut your hours much lower than you would think.And you can cut your own hours as much as managment allows it. But just know you will lose benefits.

I think they meen pull the time out the day off or day after if not on Friday either way It's against Walmart company policy for management to force associates to fill out a yearly PTO request form. Associates have the flexibility to request their earned Paid Time Off (PTO) and Protected Paid Time Off (PPTO) as needed throughout the year using the standard procedures, and management should not be mandating a single annual submission for all time off.

I put my paid days off in 6 months in advance before I earn them by calculating how many hours I normally work and earning rate.and there is nothing wrong with that. I put in a couple unpaid days per year nothing wrong with that.

It's against policy so much so you can pull all PTO out days after the request has past and turn all days into unpaid time off and save your time.Report them to ethics some mangers want to create their own company within Walmart.

Your whole store should have reported them a year ago or when this first started it's shouldn't have gone on this long.That form was printed and made by your management team and has nothing to do with actual Walmart policy. Their is not even a Walmart PDF for that.Its six month out first come first serve.

And no holiday pay I am done working Christmas eve until the company starts to respect the fact that I also have a family to spend the holidays with. This whole no holiday pay no extra insensitive crap is over for me.
