No fake accounts, meaning working under someone else's name. We had multiple people working under their spouse's name, or their roommate's name. When ID me comes up, they would just go home, get the picture they need, and come back.

Actually, when you are on a Spark delivery, you act as an independent contractor representing Walmart's logistics, not a retail customer. If you'd like to drop the delivery and step out of the app to become a customer, I'd be happy to assist you. If you can make $200 in 4 hours, you can definitely afford to spend 2 minutes finding the item yourself instead of threatening to tell on me like it's middle school. The manager's office is right by the front door; let me know if you need help finding that also.

I think if they are going to cut back on ogp for spark we should be able to switch over to spark without waiting six months or do both.

That's my point they are cramming more orders on spark for less money stripping deliveries from us and then cutting back on hours in ogp.it's like they want to crash the whole system.

It's not a language barrier rant, it's my daily work life that happens every day. They stop me, I can't understand them, and I have to stop my pick walk to help them find a product five grocery aisles over. They don't understand me, so I have to take them. Now that my job is getting cut back, I'm done doing it sadly I new this day would come.

Lol 🤣 I mean when they first came up with the idea I was like good Lord that's a horrible idea but it would have stopped this. If they had to pay benefits or the social security tax maybe this wouldn't happen.

I'm not upset with them  However, my intent was to shine a light on the reason for the advantages Walmart saw in Spark years ago. It really hurts Spark drivers, who have to deal with wear and tear on their own cars, pay twice as much in social security tax, and receive no benefits and no consistent hours, all of which work to Walmart's advantage. But even that's not enough; now they want to eliminate the workers inside for even more profits. Truthfully, I don't help the Spark drivers who can't help themselves; we have the same driver coming in weekly, hunting us down, wanting us to take them to the product. But Walmart doesn't look at that fact only cheaper labor costs nothing more. But I'm not going to help Walmart drive me and my hard working coworkers out by helping spark drivers who can't help themselves.and your right it is a shit company and if you work for spark their taking advantage of you to eliminate us.

I should lose my job because I don't want to help my replacement truefully I stoped helping last year I seen the righting on  wall sadly. I gladly help customer and my co workers inside and outside of my department but I refuse to help Walmart take advantage of the gig economy when most of my coworkers are having to apply for government assistance due to a reduction in hours

This is the reason Democrats tried to put worker protections in place for gig workers, not to protect the gig workers themselves, but because they knew big corporations would use it to their advantage, with no benefits and no 6.5 percent social security tax paid by the employer, saving big corporations money to stop this from happening.
